My NYF Diary
Default Today's chart

I thought I'd also post my weight loss chart as of today. Even though losses have been small the past few weeks, and daily movements have been all over the place, you can see that I'm still following a fairly steady line down. The red arrow is about the nominal goal set by my clinic (65 kgs), but my Cohen's low is actually 59 kgs and I will go to that if the hunger doesn't strike first.

My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Default Sixties Girl!

Hi AJ

My server was playing up yesterday and I didn't get around to your diary. So today I find out it's happened. You are officially a sixties girl. What a wonderful thing and so richly deserved. It couldn't happen to a nicer person.
Thank you for all your support to all of us on the forum. We're all better off having you here.

x

Loulou

Brilliant AJ, I hope the next 10kg (or number you need to get to goal), melts away quicker than the past ten have for you.
Your dedication to this is amazing and truly an inspiration for all those people out there on their journeys or about to start.
You will never be overweight again.

My NYF Diary
Unhappy Day 4, Week 35

Up 400 gms today. I'm not sure why, but nothing I can do about it. I was retaining fluid yesterday, up 2.5 kgs at bedtime, and it didn't all clear overnight. Not to worry, it will go soon.

We visited my father yesterday afternoon. He was reasonably 'with it' but not engaging in anything. This morning he is apparently very confused. My brother and SIL have gone to calm him down. He's due to have the pacemaker put in this afternoon, but we think that he's not capable of signing the consent form. My brother has told the hospital and said that the doctor has to talk with him, and have the form signed by Dad's medical power of attorney, my doctor niece. Not sure what's going to happen next. I had a call this morning to say that the mother of the friend who hosted my first demo last week died on Friday.

I had planned to go to the gym today, for the first time in three weeks, but have been dealing with other matters. I think I will cancel my membership, I'm just not finding the time at the moment. I have a client to see, and a Cohen coffee meeting this afternoon.

I'm managing to catch up on a few diaries each evening, but not making much progress. I think I might clear everything and start off afresh. I'm feeling tired at the moment, not wanting to stay up late, although last night I didn't eat until 9:30, so had to. Usually it's not a problem, but the past few days I've been very tired.

Thanks for stopping by and for the congratulations, Jenny, AE, Kate, shell, Louise, Janine, Kate, Lindy, Honeybuns, Tina, Cheral and anyone reading this.

Have a lovely, stress free, day, everyone.

AJ

Well done on reaching the 60's !!!
I'm with you and gym. Also did curves for about 3 months, but when i got within 5 kg of goal i had issues with minor deviations. Gave up altogether and found it much easier sticking to plan. Weight also dropped faster than usual. Only problem is i havent gone back yet...lol
Their hours make it difficult to get to, especially when kids have activities and you work late sometimes.
Still paying as well....need to try 1 more time and see if i can get there, if not - cancel like you are.
Good luck with the new few weeks

Jayne

I am a bit late AJ but CONGRATULATIONS on hitting the 60's !!!!

You are soooo close to goal now, you must be so excited.

I hope everything goes well for your dad this afternoon.

I'm thinking I may have to get a mini tramp and give that a go, my weight loss has stalled!!! I think it is because of the anti biotics and cough mixture I was taking last week. So I will see if I can bounce it off instead

Have yourself a great day

DC

Hi AJ, long time receiver of your messages but first time reader of your diary.....

Congrats to you - I hear the 60's was a good place to be - I can't really remember but as they say - if you remember the 60's you weren't really there.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions - you are a great person to have around...

Well done again and best wishes for your Dad.

Cheers D
