Hi Angel, (lovely name that...)

Two thoughts for you to consider, Angel, and/or reply to.....

1. Be careful that you don't "condemn yourself" with your own words.

e.g. I hear daily from friends/acquaintances "Oh, I can NEVER remember people's names", or "I'm hopeless at Maths", or "I could never do Cohens", "I'm just not lucky", "I'll never be rich", .... We place restrictions on ourselves when we limit our possibilities, Angel.

I chose (many years ago) to make an effort to REMEMBER people's names, rather than accepting "I can't do that".... works for me. Then I started working on my other limiting beliefs.....

2. If you are really wanting to do this, DO spend the time required to "get to grips" with what is required, Angel. Read a bunch of diaries, stickies, etc. and start to get an appreciation that others have over-come the same fears you are facing right now. You are so NOT alone on here so fill your pockets with "good vibes", and draw on the gifts left by others who have faced what you are facing.

This will work, but you need to play your part too. First thing (I believe) is to put a huge smile on your face, and to learn that you WILL be the girl of your dreams in a very short time. It has come true for others, and can/will for you too.

Once you realise that, then just get excited (which will lift you to another level again...) Thoughts of "I can't" will disappear once you are happy and excited, and eating Cohens !!

Try it - you'll like it !!

I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Hi Renee, it's my 3rd time round, and I keep coming back to Cohens - where else do you get results like that? And you feel good, and look great! What made you join the first time?
Don't over think it, just do it. that's what I'm aiming for, and you will have heaps of advice, help and support on the forum, so go for it!

Hi Angel

Just wanted to say how much your post encouraged me. I've literally just now joined the forum and I'm in pretty well in the same position. I'm starting Cohens for the second time on Monday morning. The first time I did Cohens I lost 17kg & made it to goal, but I let all my old habits creep back in & I've put on all of weight + some.

So encouraging to know that it worked the first time & that it will work again! Look forward to journeying with you.

~ Erica
