Other Cohen's forums

There has been mention of the "other" forum. I thought it would be handy to get a list of other Cohen's forums. I have found 2 others. Each have a different style and feel to them so it might be handy to people who may not like this one to try the others.

I'm certainly NOT suggesting people should abandon this site, but I genuinely believe that these support forums are a LONG way towards keeping people on the program and making them successful. So if this one doesn't rock your boat, you should try the others.

Here are the two I have found:

Cohen's Forum at fitness.com: I'm assuming this is the famed "other" forum. Had a look and it seems to be the one most new people find. It helps that it's based on fitness.com and the search engines know about it. Downside seems to be that being a large site with all types of dieters and fitness freaks, some posts recommened non-cohen's solutions.

(Unofficial) 1st Personal Diet Support: This site seems predominantly US based but it does have people from all over the world. The only thing that I find confusing about this site is that the discussions are all in one continous thread which is difficult to follow. But it seems very supportive.

Does anyone know of any other forums ?

I am also on the 1st diet support one. It is pretty confusing but supportive also Since I am in the US it is easier to be on at the same time as others. But I visit both everyday. Actually too much.

I was on the Cohens forum at fitness.com when i first started the program, but when Asy built this one i moved quick smart. one of my reasons for moving was that things got really narky over there - people constantly telling us what we were doing was wrong and that we should be at the gym all day everyday to make our bodies beautiful. it turned into a real cat/dog fight. I'd had enough. we use these sites for support, not for a slanging match. What Asy (and LF!) has achieved here is perfect, a good mix of people, lots of help if and when needed, and it feels like family!

I go backwards & forwards between the weight-loss forum & this one & really enjoy them both. There was a very negative influence ( a body builder) but we have "killed him with kindness" & it's back to being very supportive. I find this support crucial for my motivation & am constantly amazed at the feedback I get. I am picking up re-feed tomorrow & am so excited! I love Cohen's & love both forums, cheers, Cate.
