Question Losing 10Kg or less

Hi there can someone tell me if they have joined cohens with less than 10kg to lose and how long it to them to lose the weight and the average a week. Thank you.

Hope, there have been several with relatively small amounts to lose. However, the time it takes varies from person to person. Count on a kilo a week and anything above that as a bonus.

Started 11/1/08. Lowest weight reached 63.8 kgs on 10/11/08 and 40 kgs down. Thank you Dr Cohen.
Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

I have now lost around 12.5kg and love what the programme has done for me. I was initially on it for 5 weeks to lose about 10kg, then had an 18 day Refeed programme. After a few months on Maintenance, I decided to go back on the plan to lower my weight to my lowest goal weight which I think I should have done in the first place to ensure that I had a good enough buffer for fluctuations. To lead a normal eating life, you need to allow up to 2kg fluctuation and still be happy with your upper weight.

Highly recommend it all.

Initial Plan from 29/5/08 at 69.2kg to 3/7/08 at 59.3 kg (5 weeks), Refeed from 4/7/08 at 59.1kg to 21/7/08 at 58.6kg (18 days)
Lost 10.6kg and 33.5cm in 8 weeks!

Lowered goal weight to 57.6kg from 24/8/08 - 19/9/09
Total lost is 12.4kg and 41cm

Hey Hope!!
I've started at 72 and want to get to 58 kgs so I have roughly the same only a bit more to loose. I lost 8 kilos on the pre-cohens just from the recipes on the cohen's website and now I'm getting to my goal on my program. I have been a mega deviator (only after week three) and it's still falling off, not condoning deviation to anyone!!! I'm lucky but from now on I'm DF for 6 weeks as I really want to shed the last bits fast for summer.
I haven't weighed myself in 10 days but the previous 10 days I lost 4 kilos so I'm excited about the next result (although I have been a bit bad - grand final day was a mega blowout). So yeah, i just went on a bit of a tangent but its sometimes good to know there are other youngsters out there (24yo) who are trying to shake the taccos and mojitos. hehe.
