Default What is considered high carb content?

Okay so, I am a bit clueless as far as what is considered to be high and low carb contents. Can someone please enlighten me?

I know as far as fat content a product should be less than 10g of fat per 100g to be considered low in fat but I don't know per 100g what a low/high carb content is.

Just curious for when I finish this, I'm sure I'll be counting the carbs then.

Thanks guys.

Suzie

There's another distinction that's made with carbs, Suzie, and that is low, medium and high GI. Low GI foods don't cause insulin spikes the same way high GI foods do. You could look up low GI foods on the Internet and find out more. However, Dr Cohen gives lists of foods that are good and bad for us in maintenance, so you will have guidelines. One suggestion is that if you can't catch or grow it (i.e. it's processed) it's bad.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Thanks AJ. After I posted that I actually had a look at one of the carb counter sites and got an idea myself, suppose I should have done that first before posting my thread hey?

I look up every question I have on the Internet, Suzie. I don't know how we managed without it.
