Canberra Get-together

Hi all,

would like to propose a Saturday morning get together for people in the ACT/SNSW/NVIC region.

I am suggesting a morning in February once the kids have gone back to school as I know how busy we can all be and things should be a little quieter on the roads then as well with everyone back from their hols.

I guess Civic at this stage would be the best place for a venue as it's central for both the north and south side to get to.

I look forward to hearing back from you with your responses.

Thanks for the request. I'm usually available on Saturdays. Civic sounds like a good idea to me or if anyone else has any other preferences. FatCat and Faithy may be interested as well.

So ladies,

are we on for the morning of Feb 16?

Does anyone have any perferences for were we should meet up in Civic?

im free then and flexible with times etc are we having a cohens lunch or are we just having coffee? Either way I vote after 1030 ( i love my sleep ins and it's my first weekend in canberra in awhile)

It doesn't look like I can make it this time.. I'm still house hunting with homes to view in the morning.. if a miracle happens between now & then I'll be there, but I doubt it.. please let me know if you guys get together again soon hey..

ok peoples, when are we making plans for the next get together???

15th of March (Saturday) is good for me... and that gives us all just under a month to lose EVEN MORE weight and be looking even more fantastic!!!
Milk and Honey still sounds good to me...

what does everyone else think?

.. Yeah we're pretty much settled already.. but I'll be working that day... I've gone & got myself a part time job on Friday nights & Saturdays to pay for the extra rent LOL.. ugghhhhh!!!.. I start on the 7th March... At least I'll get some good discounts at where I'll be working :P

at least I know you all won't eat me as a pretzel

I too now have a second job faithy so I know what it's like to have to squeeze things in! (and get GREAT discounts!)

Ahhh not for me Nelle.. To be honest it's going to be very hard for me now. Saturday's were the only days I had where I had no commitments & now that's gone..

If you wouldn't mind letting me know whenever you guys do get together & I'll just play it by ear & see how it goes.. it sux cause I reckon it would be awesome meeting up with you guys & having a face to face chat with other's going through the same issues etc.. Unless some of you can during the week, I can usually pop out of my office for an hour or 2, any day except Monday's.. but everyone else would be working??
