Serving Size: 1 medium (148g) Amount Per Serving Calories 35 Calories from Fat % Daily Value* Total Fat 1g 1% Cholesterol 0mg 0% Sodium 5mg 0% Total Carbohydrate 7g 2% Dietary Fiber 1g Sugars 6g Protein 1g Vitamin A 20% Vitamin C 40% Calcium 2% Iron 2% *Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Your daily values may be higher or lower depending on your calorie needs. Source: PMA's Labeling Facts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomato Red tomatoes, raw Nutritional value per 100 g (3.5 oz) Energy 20 kcal 80 kJ Carbohydrates 4 g - Sugars 2.6 g - Dietary fiber 1 g Fat 0.2 g Protein 1 g Vitamin C 13 mg 22% Water 95 g So after that I would stick with normal tomatoes - its the sugar content in everything that you need to keep as low as you can. This Cohen's plan really makes you look more closely at what you are eating - I have learnt more about foods and ingredients in the last 12 weeks doing Cohen's than in the preceding 46 yrs !!! and that can only be a good thing - for me, my body and soul, and my future years of life. "Nothing teaches as much as a need to know to survive". Andy ( I like Roma Tomatoes as that is my home town ROMA ) Even readjusting above figures to equal weight the Roma tomatoes have a lot more sugar in them.
