Abscessed tooth

I have abscessed tooth which is caused by severe tooth decay. As I am experiencing extreme toothache, I am planning to get a root canal therapy procedure ( https://www.clearbrookdental.com/roo...cedure-oshawa/ ) done from a nearby clinic in Oshawa. My first consultation is on 25th of this month and I’m really excited and worried about it. I have no idea about what should I do. What all foods can I eat after having the dental treatment? Does anyone know any kind of special diet to be followed after the treatment? Can anyone help me by sharing your experience? Maybe that could help me to let down some of my worries. Thanks!
