Default Is Greek Yoghurt Natural Yoghurt???

My program says "natural yoghurt"... i'm just wondering - is greek yog classified as natural? i don't like the couple i've tried from the natural yog's - vaalia and jalana (spelling??) they both are really bitter...
i love greek yog so i'm hoping that if i can find some plain stuff that is ok??

Hi Rach,
i find the yoplait (blue 1kg tub) the best. Not too bitter, not lumpy, nice and smooth. I have it with a splash of diet fanta - doesnt even need sugarine. Give it a go!

Hi Rach
I have Greek Yoghurt Natural Yoghurt as well and love it. I've tried the others and don't like the taste.
Cheers

It's a Tasmanian yoghurt and tasts amazing. You can get it in all different sizes so give it a go. It's not to bitter, it's delightfully smooth and thick and creamy...and deffinately no lumps. SOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Oh and it's 99% fat free. Awsome

Greek yoghurt uses a different culture and prepares it slightly different to normal natural yoghurt but it is still the same skim milk + culture

When I started I was eating the Greek yoghurt and was told it was not allowed as it had thickeners in it. Was told to eat the B.-d Farm Paris Creek Low Fat yoghurt. So that is what I eat and its only 0.1g fat per 100g.

Some Greek Yoghurt also has sugar in it. Best to stick to normal low fat natural yoghurt with no thickeners or Inulin

I'm all about making my own yoghurt. Here you can get a light greek alternative, which is tasty!! I tend to mix up that with a slimmer's one and a light plain one... Keeps it interesting!

lubie,

Home made Yoghurt is NOT allowed on the program. You will have to save that for maintenance. For what IS allowed see this thread
