Default Romping it in to Refeed

Hi there

I have 10.5 kg to lose till goal and refeed and I've seen a few others on the forum who have about the same to lose. I thought it would be great to get together here and support each other on our way to refeed.

We could do a weekly weigh if we want. More than that though is the encouragement and support we could give each other as we chip away at the weight on this last part of our journey.

Anyone with about 10kg to lose is welcome. A little bit over, a little bit under...no problem.

What do you think?

x

Loulou

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Jacqui you are more than welcome. I still haven't figured out if we do a weekly weigh or if we just support each other on our way to refeed. I'm happy to take suggestions.

Wink Supporting each other

Hey ladies,
I would love to have your support and hopefully I can support you as well on our way to romp it in to our refeed.

I have only been back on deviation free for a couple of days now but I feel great and know that I can do this and so can you all. I only have 11.2 kg to go. Ya ya ya ya.

Let me know what I need to do etc. to be part of the group.
Thanks and good luck to all of us for a quick loss.

Hello and welcome 2BM, I don't think you need to do anything other than stay DF and get to refeed with the rest of us. I thought we could use this thread to support each other as we'll probably all reach refeed at about the same time and it would be great to have some company on the last part of our journey.

We can also use this thread to weigh if we want to or perhaps count down the kilos. I had 10.5 KG to lose when I proposed this thread and now less than a week later only 9.7 kg to go. It's exciting getting into single digits. My Hubby had toast this morning for breakfast and I said "I'll be able to have a piece of toast when I get to refeed." It won't be too long now.

Hi Lucylou

I have 13kg to lose and I am a newbie. Please can I partake, I do not need a full blown challenge just a spot were I can report back on my losses until I get to refeed. I will check back here to see how you have decided to proceed.

Thank you and take care!

Hi H- yes of course you can join us, only 13 kg to lose you lucky thing. I'm glad you found Cohen's before you had more weight to lose.

I'm thinking it might be good to post our weekly losses. To keep us motivated and also out of interest to see when an where things speed up or slow down during this process. My weigh in day is Thursdays so just post yours after you weigh what ever day that might be.

Hi and thanx LouLou

I lost 10 kg from Jan 2008 - March 2008 on Atkins. I chose to do Cohens when I started picking it up again. Will report back on Tuesday for my results of week 1. Very excited.

Bye for now.

My weekly weigh and measure day is Friday, so I'll post after that.

After a good week last week, I've only lost 200 gms so far this week, and not much chance of much more before Friday (busy in the early part of the week) based on past experience.

Hi Jacqui

This is a great thread to check out people's weekly losses. I add mine to my original post every week
http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4973

H- I expect you'll catch up to the rest of us pretty soon, after having a break from dieting you'll probably drop quite a bit of weight in the first month on Cohens.

Hi to LouLou, AJ, Jacqui, 2boysmum, almost happy and i would love to join your ROMP TO REFEED as suggested to me by AJ.

I am again, finally biting the bullet and back on cohens 100% as of yesterday - i feel like an "addict" who has tried everything out there to get my weight back to where i am comfortable and i now CRAVE the discipline and magic of cohens again.

I have to say i am feeling much better with myself now, even though i have gained 7.5kg and now sit at an all time high of 59.5kg - and of course my size 6 clothes are too tight (serious muffin top) and the size 8's are fitting too well!

I have been doing exercise, weights and powerwalking and may have added some muscle etc, have been eating healthy bread, brown rice, bananas etc so probably holding fluid due to carbs etc so i hope the initial kg drop to be good and as AJ said to me a few weeks ago, it is NEW fat as my weight only started going UP around April and so maybe it will come off quickly! Maybe even 7.5kg gone in 3 weeks (4 tops). Anyway, any and all support will be sucked up as i love the power of this forum. I started yesterday catching up with some diaries and will gradually visit as many as i can in the next few days when i am at the computer, without extra food and without that glass of wine! Bye for now! Pandora

Hi pandora

Great to have you back on the forum and good to have you along on our Romp to Refeed. We'll be posting our losses for the week, whatever day you're weekly weigh in is. Every bit lost brings us closer to refeed. Sounds as though you might get there first, fingers crossed.

Thank you SO much for the warm welcome to your romp to refeed thread LouLou - and i have to say i am a tad more humble, less of a "racehourse champing at the bit" this time as i know i have the enthusiasm, drive and big ideas, but i also know i must have the follow thru and staying power this time! So, i may not be first across the line but perhaps slow and steady is the way to go for the weigh to go!! Hehe, amused myself! Pandora

Well done H, I knew you'd have a big drop and catch up with the rest of us very quickly, you'll probably overtake me soon and that's great. The more of us that get to refeed and maintenance the better as far as I'm concerned.
