Default Woey's Diary

Day 3 down and still feeling pretty good, no hunger or ill feelings as yet, touch wood of course. I thought I was going to have more trouble with the water, but because of the warmer weather over the weekend I managed just over 3L. I am feeling a lot more energetic today which is great, as it makes the work day a lot easier.

I guess the nights are the hardest, I just feel wierd watching TV without eating something salty, I think that is the only time that I really feel like deviating but I know I am only cheating myself if I deviate from my plan.

Hiya Woey!

Congratulations on starting Cohen's, and you're already 3 days in! Thats 3 days less than you had to begin with! Well done with your water... man, I still find it hard to get 2 1/2 litres down in a day. But like you said the warmer weather helps alot!

I know what you mean about eating something salty while watching TV... believe me, that feeling will pass

Anywhoodle, well done on your first 3 days, and be sure to keep us posted :P

Good on you - you are a champion in the running old mate - soon you'll be a bolter - ready to win a Melbourne Cup one day. !!!!!!!!!!

You have got it in one - you cheat you loose - and why waste your valuable and hard work for a bit of rubbish - better to forget the TV and do something entirely different until you loose the urge - and remember we all had the same challenge as the sugar and rubbish left our system.

Hang in mate and sooner than later you will be a winner !!!!!!!!!

All the best

Andy

Well done Woey, you are doing really well before you know it week 1 will be down. Good on you about your intake of water!

If you start thinking about salty foods while watching TV get up and go do something til the craving stops.

Thanks guys!

Day 4 is here, I slept the best that I have in a long time, am not feeling at all sleepy and am greeting the day with a tonne of energy that I don't think that I ever have had. This morning I feel lighter, that can't be can it, I have only been doing this for a couple of days, I didn't think that it would work this quickly?

Went shopping last night after work and both peaches and mangoes are in season at last, as much as I like apples was sick of having to eat two of them a day, will be great to mix it up a bit.

Have a great day people

Hi Woey

That is a cute name and Chloe i have always loved that name. You are doing great and yes it does work that quick.

I have one apple and one orange every day it is good to mix it up. But it will be nice when peaches and apricots come in.

Any way keep up the great work and i will look forward to reading about your journey

Annie

Hi Chloe,

Of course you feel lighter, it is working and your body is flushing out toxins YAY for you!

It is great to see that mangoes and peaches are in season now as it does give a bit of added variety. Some days I divide my fruit allowance up and make fruit salad, and spread it out over the day, it feels as though you are having more than you are actually having.

Hi Chloe,

Well done on your first few days. I know what you mean about feeling lighter I'm on Day 12 now but when I was on Day 4 I remember felling not so heavy and weighed down. I was like no way it is working already but it was. Isn't that so exciting!!

I'm still waiting for nectarines to come into season over here in WA I don't think we have peaches yet either. You are lucky!!

I wish you all the best for the next couple of days as you finish off week 1!!

Hi Woey
Noticed the comment you make about missing the salty nibbles watching t.v. Boy are you in for a surprise when you stick to this program. I used to be a saltaholic! You know, didnt care too much for chocs etc, but all things salty, nuts, crisps, etc, once i started couldnt stop! The point is, most people think they like that stuff, but if it wasnt salted, we lose some of the attraction so its often the SALT we crave! And, as Cohens program drastically reduces our salt intake, i am now only having a wee bit on my egg in the mornings! Also, after about 2 weeks, couldnt eat fetta cheese, too salty! So its one of the many added benefits as before long you will have detoxed that salt out of yr system and you will notice the flavours of fresh foods so much better. Enjoy, Pandora

Thanks Guys!

Day 5 is here and I am feeling fantastic, no cravings for foods not on the program yesterday so the mindset must be changing along with my body. I had a bit of an emotional day yesterday, had a bit of a teary moment, but have to say that i am feeling a lot better for it today! I have so much energy that I have already taken the dog for a walk and made everyone's lunches and dinners. My partner is on night shift at the moment so I have to make both for him

Here is to a fab day everyone

That is great Chloe that you are feeling fantastic and are so full of energy!

I think that everyone goes through emotional days on this program, it is part of finding ourselves and getting to know the iner skinny you and saying good bye to the old fat you. It is good to let it out and have a good cry as it is part of the process.

What type of dog do you have?

Been away for the weekend taking advantage of the long weekend. We went down the coast and stayed in a place near Port Campbell, it was really nice. It is awesome just to get away from the business of Melbourne Done really well haven't deviated even though had many temptations of being away, but the place we stayed had its own little kitchen so all was great.

I had my first weigh in on Saturday and gosh I was surprised 7.8kg gone, poof it is gone YIPPEE Even better 15cm have disappeared

Thanks Magenta and Sezi

Well yesterday was a drag, being the first day back at work after 4 days off it was so slow. But I survived it.

Well it is day 13 and I can't believe how great I am feeling, or is that a feeling of normal, and I just felt crap before when I was eating bad foods? That does make some sense, I don't even remember how I felt before i put on all that weight? Strange to think that how I felt before was not normal.

Well I am rambaling I guess and I better get to work!

Hi Chloe,

Yes that first day back at work does suck but atleast it is Thursday today and only one more day at work.

You are doing great I have to agree with your sentiments of feeling great compared to how we all used to feel when we were fueling our bodies with junk. I think that it takes a bit to get your head around how we felt before now was not normal and how we are feeling now is.

Have a great day!

Week 2 is now down, and another 6kg gone, YIPPEE, another 8.3cm gone also.

It has been beautiful here in Melbourne and have enjoyed the day out enjoying the sun

Hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Chloe
