HELP! ~ I accidently ate an extra apple
I'm not sure if I'm posting this querie in the right spot or not, so forgive if it's wrong. I'm just over 2 weeks in and loving the program, the results and the confidence I'm getting. However I have just realised tonight I actually ate 3 apples instead of my allowed 2 for the day! what an idiot! This was a complete accident as I merely forgot I had one with my yoghurt this morning. I absolutely feel terrible and I'm almost scared at the thought that may ruin my weeks weight loss. Has anyone else done this by mistake and what was the outcome for you? I'm wondering if tomorrow I should reduce my fruit allowance to one, will that make any difference? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks |

Re: HELP! ~ I accidently ate an extra apple
You'll be fine, just try not to do it again! Trust me, I know apples! Apparently if you have more than 2 in a row they team up and start to act like the nasty carbs but you should be fine as it sounds like you left time in between. I don't think you're looking at too much time for your crime! If you feel like your fruit allowance tomorroe, don't deprive yourself. Hope thats useful to you

Re: HELP! ~ I accidently ate an extra apple
Hi,
Don't change anything tomorrow. What's done is done, it was an accident nothing more, draw a line under it and move on. You can't change what is done, so stop beating yourself up and just get back on the plan 100% tomorrow. Connie

Re: HELP! ~ I accidently ate an extra apple
Thanks guys I feel a little better, I think the worst part was that I unknowingly deviated, I have been 100% on the plan and intend to remain that way.
Once my mind is made up and set on something there is no stopping me! Thanks for the advice, it's great to be able to jump on the computer and get the answers I'm looking for |

Re: HELP! ~ I accidently ate an extra apple
Hi mum24,
I don't know if you caught this a few weeks back, but I really like the analogy :- http://newyouforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=238586&postcount=116 In essence, all you did was ease your foot off the accelerator - so put out of your mind any thoughts of losing a week... Just put your foot back on the pedal and zoom on with your Plan (as Connie said, don't try to "make up" by not eating something today - it doesn't work like that) Koh
