Default places to see in Australia

I prefer country towns to cities...although I currently live in Perth Western Australia which is the capital city of WA. It's a nice smaller city with bush land close by so I still feel like I am in the country sometimes. I have only been out of WA once and when I did I went to Sydney and Brisbane. Queensland was gorgeous and northern NSW was just as nice. Sydney was a bit overwhelming for me (but I was only 14!) Personally I love all of Western Australia.

We bought a caravan and drove around the outside of the country, had had a holiday through the centre years earlier. I wrote about each day here: https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?bl...5;src=pagename. Memorable spots were many, the north west is one area I'd like to spend more time exploring. Scenery is absolutely spectacular. There are many places that we visited that were unexpectedly amazing. I live near Melbourne and think it is a lovely city, especially the botanic gardens, and lots of really good restaurants. If you have unlimited money, Vue de Monde is amazing, spectacular view at night and exceptional food.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Whats amazing about Australia is it is home to the oldest Indigenous culture in the world. Every site in Australia has an Indigenous name and most probably a story too. The Kimberley is pretty unique and diverse. Places like the Wolfe Creek Crater is pretty awesome and Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) is breathtaking.

I have great interest to see Sydney Cricket Ground. I have heard a lot about Sydney and seen lots of pictures while watching cricket. So a little bit interested.
