Default What is your Fruit and Crispbread Allowance???

I just have a question - is the fruit allowance a standard thing or does it vary between individuals like the meat/vegetable allowances?

I would be interested to hear how many pieces of fruit and how many crispbread others are allowed.

I am allowed 2 pieces of fruit and 5 crispbread. I tell you some days I would kill for an extra piece of fruit!!! Especially when the stonefruits are in season!!!

Hi Krissy, i can have 3 fruits and 6 crispbreads. However, after first 10 days it says i dont have to have them if i dont want to! Most days i have 1 or 2 apples (never 3) and 2 - 4 c/p (never 6) so maybe when you CAN have more like me, it is easier to CHOOSE not to! Just a thought. Pandora

Hi
I am allowed 3 fruits but only 1 apple per day. My saltines are small so am allowed 12 of those. I eat it all an there hasn't been a day I haven't wanted to. Maybe I would lose faster if I cut out a few crackers but now I seem to be getting hungry more most days.
So haven't done it. May not either would rather not be hungry cause then I have more of a change of deviating.

i'm allowed 2 fruits and 5 crispbread.
like you, i'd love to be able to have another piece of fruit - especailly when i use one with my yoghurt in the mornings!

Most people have 2 fruit and 5 crackers in their allowance, but, it IS an individual thing, just like everything on the programme!

I've heard of as many as 4 fruit and 9 crackers!!! But that was a one off... (lucky buggers!)

I've seen a couple with 3 and 6...

Maybe being a man - I got 6 dry hard biscuits that are tasting better - and three bits of fruit which is three time a day more than I have had since I was at boarding school and its a good change - all in all I'm as satisfied with my treats. Some days to fit the evening meal in and the fruit and dry hard biscuits by 9.00 pm is a bit hard but I like the biscuits as a snack at 9.00 - I have that nibble every night. And I think its a new habit that will stay for a few years yet !!!!!!!

I'm the same with you Andy. Actually now both hubby and I have our last *bikkies* between 8.30 - 9.00pm. It just helps top of the day.

I eat my fruit but never eat the crispbreads.

hello i have 2 fruit and 5 crispbread and usually have 2 crisps in the morn like toast with an egg on top and fried mushrooms which can be quite filling and then morn tea which is an apple then lunch chicken stir fry with 2 crisps afternoon an orange or manderine then tea then bout 9pm i have 1 crisp or 1 crisp and fruit if i didnt have it in the arvo. I usually find this way can be filling. if i am hungry between breaky and lunch i have a glass of diet coke and a crisp which can also be filling. i lost nearly 5kg in the first week by doing this. hope that helps jacinta
