Default New Recipes

Hi, hopefully these are some nice new recipes for you all out there trying to find something different for dinner!
Please let me know what you think!

LEMONY CHICKEN:
Chicken cut into Strips (allowance)
Lemon Juice (fruit allowance)
1 tblspoon thyme leaves
Spinach leaves (allowance)
Onion chopped (allowance)
Tomato chopped (allowance)
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
mustard powder

Place chicken in bowl with juice thyme and light spray of oil, toss to cost in mixture. Then grill until brown. Combine Spinach, Onion and tomato in a bowl. Mix vinegar, mustard powder and a little spray of oil (perhaps in a screw top jar and shake well) Use as salad dressing. serve with chicken.

BEEF STROGANOFF:
Steak (allowance)
Onion (allowance)
Garlic powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice (allowance)
1 teaspoon paprika
Swiss brown mushrooms, sliced thickly (allowance)
Baby spinach leaves (allowance)
2 tablespoons Red Wine vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped Dill

Fry beef until browned, then add onion and garlic powder. When onion is soft add paprika and mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are tender. Add vinegar, juice and dill. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and then simmer until beef is cooked. Serve with Spinach.

CAJUN CHICKEN:
1 teaspoon cracked pepper
2 tablespoon finely chopped oregano
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
Garlic powder
Chicken breast (allowance)

Combine pepper, oregano, chilli, paprika, garlic and chicken in a bowl. lightly spray with oil and toss to coat the chicken. Pop in the fridge for 15 mins. Cook until brown and cooked through.

LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN AND ZUCCHINI SALAD
1 tablespoon finely grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon of lemon juice from the same lemon.
2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
Chicken (allowance)
Zucchini (allowance)

Place chicken, rind, pepper and juice into a bowl and toss to coat the chicken with a little spray oil. Put in fridge for 15 mins. Thinly slice Zucchini and grill until lightly browned and crispy. Cook Chicken on same grill serve with Zucchini

Hi Mouse, I don't mean to be a spoilsport here, but there is far too many spices in the cajun chicken. I don't know about your program, but mine specifically says only 1 teaspoon of spices per day. I just don't want anyone to deviate unintentionally.
The recipes look very nice though!

Ooops thanks for pointing that out, I was meant to explain that with the cajun chicken you make a whole batch from 650g of chicken or 4 breasts. The amount of spices you get for you allowance once you've split it up won't fill the quota.
