Default Day 3 and the things I have already learnt

Hi everyone,

I'm on day 3 of cohens and I must say i have been on a rollercoaster of feelings since starting ranging from- hungry, angry, irritable, headache, happy, feeling sick as well as some of the habits I had unconciously formed over the last 2.5 years ( that when I put on 30kg from eating drinking to massive excess. I used to weigh 67kgs, i'm sure you can all add 30 to 67 to find my heaviest weight) like eating what i was preparing for food.

I also noticed today how much I have become a habitual eater, I came home from work and went to open the fridge to get something out to eat when not an hour before i had my crackers and an apple ( which left me feeling quite saited) then just as I touched the fridge door a thought flashed through my head "you're not even hungry why are you opening the fridge".

I have no idea why that happened I think (hope) because my brain and stomach are starting to talk to one another again? I must also add i feel pretty good now that I have had this " breakthrough" and as I sit here typing this I don't even know if anyone else will read this or care but I feel awesome.

I am determined and motivated not to be overweight for 3 years in a row

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Welcome, fnf. I'm sure a lot of us know what it is to have opened a fridge or cupboard door and wondered why we are there, and understand your feelings. And people will read what you write, although many may not actually respond to you.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).
