Default A query

Now I'm over halfway, I have been thinking a bit about refeed, maintenance and the foods that are going to be allowed.
The most difficult meal for me on Cohen's is breakfast. The yogurt has been playing up with my tummy so I am having an egg every morning. This is OK but it's not something I can see myself doing loong term. (And I think it's contributing to a bit of a back up!)
To be perfectly honest I would love to be able to eat muesli again, (one day) but I realise this is choc-a-bloc full of carbs/sugar, so is this likely? I'm thinking if I get myself into a regular exercise program and not have too much as a serve, it might be OK...? ANd I suppose there's the possibilty I might not like it any more!!! lol

If anyone can shed any light on the matter it'd be great.

Even on maintenance, some form of protein is the best option for breakfast.
I'm just trying to think what museli would go with!
You can have some carbs with your protein like we do with our crispbreads, but it is not advised carbs on their own.
Sounds like you might have to get inventive.
But why worry about it now...... it's still a way off, and you need to sort out your breakfasts now.
I often have steak for brekkie with veg. I love it. You could change your meals around and see if it helps with the backing up problem and will also probably help with the weight losses too!

i did 20 to 30 g of bran with a whole piece of fruit with sprite or with a tiny bit of juice from the fruit-kind of a little cereal with my fruit. It didn't spike my desire for baddy food.

I liked celery and cheese for a while or adding spices to yogurt for a veggie dip, i like spinach and cheese for break as well. maybe you could do small amount of cereal one day, boild egg and veg one day, cheese and veg another day, lean meat one day, mix it up!

Omeletts using just the egg whites are very light and filling, and you can add whatever you like.

Thanks for your suggestions!
I loove the smoothies too - it's just my tummy doesn't!
Looks like muesli will have to be a weekly treat then One day down the track...
At the mo I'm doing a dry fried egg on mushrooms (cooked) which is very nice - for now!
