Question 2 different cheeses in 1 meal ok?

I know you can't mix proteins; eg. Tuna and Cheese in one meal, but can you, for example, have your cheese meal made up of half weight ricotta and half made up of mozarella.

If someone could answer this in the next 30 mins that would be great

Thanks!

Didn't make the 30min deadline, but yes you can. Same with the other proteins, ie; you can have different fish in a seafood meal, different types of poultry in a poultry meal.

Your example is fine but you can't mix fetta with another cheese unless you have the same weight. My understanding is that doesn't happen.

Yes you can mix cheeses

I beleive if you had 1/2 your fetta allowance as fetta and 1/2 your cheese (non feta) allowance as mozzarella this is fine - cheese is the only protein you can do this with as it's the only one to differentiate between types of the same protein.

Connie and shell,

I believe you are both right. You can do it with seafood definitely. Also chicken and turkey. However Connie I think it is only possible with cheese if your vege allowance is the same.
On my programme fetta has different measurements for both the fetta and the veges. On my programme I can't mix fetta and am only allowed fetta as one of the meal options whereas the other cheeses are options for two of the meals is meal 1 and 2. Fetta, on my programme, at least would not be able to be mixed with other cheeses.

You learn something new every day...that means all the left over bits of frozen turkey and chicken I can combine to make one meal! yay! No more little bits to fall through the freezer drawer...

yep Shanara that's right - and Shell is right too - Sorry I meant it was the only one with two different meal options that can be combined - You can combine different 'poultry' to make one poultry and veg option or different 'seafood' to make the seafood and veg option - cheese is the only one with two seperate meal options that can be combined, but Shanara is right - only if they have the same veg amount.
