I'm back with a vengance

Well, this is my THIRD time at Cohen's. I first completed the program in 2007 and I lost almost 20kgs and was very impressed with myself. Unfortunately I didn't complete my refeed because I had to travel for work for a month, and it was all too hard. Put most of the weight back on. Second time was about 12 months ago, and same thing happened! (NB. refeed is very important!). My God, the money I've spent!!!!

Now I have 12 kgs to lose, a fiancé to deal with and a wedding to plan. I think when you have been at goal weight, you get more disappointed with yourself when you look in the mirror and don't like what you see. Plus I feel so much better when I care about what I'm eating.

I used this site as a silent observer on my other Cohen's journeys but I thought this time I could use all the support I could get. I'm in a different no-travel job and I have my head screwed on straight this time. I need to be accountable to others to keep me on the straight and narrow.

I'm looking forward to my journey, which has started today.

HI Cat! I did exactly the same last year, lost 20 kilos had 3-5 kilos to go and did not do refeed. So now I really really want to do it again!@ And I have 12 kilos to go too! We'll support each other hey. I'm starting tomorrow. Cross my fingers

Hi Silverbee! Good on you for starting again. I felt great when I made the decision and now after a week I'm 3 kilos down. Only 9 to go. We'll both be done in no time!!

i admire your determination 3rd time round wow that says that you really do want this and because you do that much it will drive you through the tough days all the way to goal, i have 10kg to lose so around the same amount, its great to have a place like this to come to for giving and receiving support hey! you go girl

Thanks for your support everyone. The journey's going really well. Went out to dinner last night for Valentine's Day and I wore a pair of new jeans that I bought months ago on sale that I was waiting to wear when I was skinny. I thought I looked rather good in them!!

thats great cat, only 5.9 to go. Its great reading how well you are doing and you prove that even when there is only a little bit of weight to lose it still can happen quite wuickly. I think i have been feeling a bit flat as i keep hearing that weight loss happens very slow when you only have a 10-12 kilos to lose. I gotta get me started too. congrats on your progress
