Cool Up and Running

Day number three. Feeling ok at this stage, haven't had hunger pains yet. I am drinking plenty of water, hence peeing a lot! New to this forum so not to sure what else to say at this moment. Love reading all the inspirational threads, look forward to making contact with many new contacts.

Welcome to Cohens and the forum.. in the newbies area there is a link on how to add a ticker.. have a look and see if it interests you its a great motivation the watch that ticker move .. Hope day 3 treats you well.

Thanks for your welcome. Day 3 is going good, just going through recipes to see what tasty menu's are in my future. I have just clicked onto the TickerFactory, I am awaiting the assistance of my children, pretty computer illiterate, surprised I got this far alone.

Yes definatly take your time giong through the recipes there are some great idea.. I need some more ideas for Spinach.. as not a big spinach eater.. so any ideas you just let me know.

For not being very computer literate you are doing well.

Wellfit,

Drooling at the lips, great options for nice changes to the boring and basic meals. I need to stock up on a few more spices and purchase one of those zippy little handheld mixer thingy. I will keep a look out for Spinach recipes.

Doing a prawn dish tonight basic prawns with a bit of garlic and some bok choy and asparagus.

Having problems with the Ticker any hints on how to get it in the right place. Followed directions from another friend but obviously have done something wrong.

Prawns, bok choy and asparagus in garlic nice, very nice.

Will try and fix Ticker

I am slowly getting through all the great things on the forum. Doing ok so far, have a great hubby and kids that are a great support. Only way is up, oh and fat off!!!!!

Hi Catchie,

I'm still a little confused as what is wrong with your ticker as it looks fine to me.. but if you can't click on it and it takes you direct to the website to move your ticker than you have not copied the whole "bb code".

Maybe go and delete the signature you have already put in and start fresh.. here the the thread again and follow "Sundaymorningstaple" directions as i think they are a little easy to follow.

WellFit,

I will need to have a look at my Ticker as I cant click on it directly and go to my weight change.

Its day seven and this was probably my worst day, struggled this morning bit better this afternoon. Have lost fair bit of weight of the boobs, typical always goes from the wrong place.

Hi Catchie..

You have the same problem i had with your ticker.. you will have to delete it and start fresh..

Go into your user section and delete the one that you have added. You will than need to go to the website and start a new ticker.. and follow instructions on the link i pasted earlier.

When you copy the BB code make sure you copy the whole thing.. there will be an extra few characters that you need to scroll down to copy.

Once you have done that you will be good to go.. but you will not be able to use the ticker you have now.

Sorry catchie sent that before i finished.. hope today is easier for you.. I got a bit tired this week but you just struggle through it is so worth it and like you said you can feel the weight leaving you that must be a good feeling..

Keep it up you will get through it.. just be nice to yourself and don't work your body too hard.

I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!
