Default sassy's journey

well i started on monday (18/8/0.
the week b4 i had the really bad flu and didnt eat anything the whole week basically. i think this has prob made it easier for me because my tummy would have shrunk and i never went through being hungry in the first few days.
BUT the headaches nearly killed me lol. finally over the headaches today and feelings pretty good.
It is very hard for me to drink the water. i never used to drink at all.

for me i lost 25 kg on tony ferguson but then got preg and put it all back on and then some.
i want to just get rid of that bulk lot of weight so i can be happy and healthy and able to run around after my beautiful little bubba.

i am hoping to have lost my weight by xmas.
i dont knwo how i am goign to go but because we r going on holidays for a week at the start of nov and we will be in the car for 2 days at the start and end so this will be hard to do my food right

Hi

Welcome to the forum.

I had a driving holiday early on. I packed tins of tuna and salad stuff and my little scales - and an esky of course - weighed the salad stuff out each morning, and then opened and added the tuna when it was time to eat. The crackers and fruit were easy. I did find, though, that I didn't drink as much as I should have, because toilet stops were few and far between. It worked well, I kept losing, but I must admit it put me off tuna for a while!

I can not eat tuna so i will have to think of something else for when we r driving.

3 weeks and 8.6kgs gone, 14.6 to go.
i really thought this would be harder but i have been fine so far. i have had 2 days where i have wanted to quit. 1: the twins bought a white chocolate mud cake in and it smelt sooooooooo good it made me feel sick and 2: i went to a baby shower and everyone was eating scones and cake and chips kept tellin me to have just one. i didnt have anything but i felt like crap that they made me feel bad for not eating al that crap.

my hubby has been so supportive and i think my head will pop if he tells me how good i look so far again lol. we were both talking about how dif my body shape is compared to when i was 90kg last time.

i miss going out for tea. i havnt tried to yet as i know i wont beable to do the program 100%

well feeling great this morning.
i am trying so hard not to weigh myself everyday but i cant help it. it helps alot because if i am down i feel happy and i dont want to eat anythign to stuff up my losses and if i am up a little it makes me more determined not to eat so i can get the loss back.
so from this morning i have lost 9kg.
i have to get to 75 to start refeed i cant wait lol.
i have a blood test a day after i get back from my holiday in nov so that is real motivation to make sure i do the program 100%. i am still a bit nervous but i am going to try to keep my cheese for the lunches we will be driving because it is easier to keep. other then that ill just have to take my scales with me. it kinda sucks that ill have to cook while on hols and not beable to go out for tea.
i am getting so excited about christmas. hopefully i will be finished by then and it is my bubbies first christmas so i am goign to go all out this yr with decorations and making food lol.
i cant wait to get on refeed so i can exercise again. i have found if i go shopping on the weekend all the walking makes me soooooooooooo hungry.
I think the worst thing i have found so far is if i have eaen my fruit and cracker allowance during the day and i get hungry after tea i cant have any fruit or anything. i usually try to go to bed early if i am hungry lol but doesnt always work with a 3month old.

Hi Sassy,
You are going great! Fantastic job passing on the chocolate cake and the scones. Seems hard at the time, but soo worth it on the scales. I chew gum after tea and that helps me. I always leave one fruit for after tea, too. That's the worst time for me, esp if hubby has some cheese and wine. I told him I didn't want to hear how nice it was again.

Hi Sassy,

Congrats on your losses. WELL DONE !!!!

On the packed lunches, may be check with your clinic in regards to the cheese, I know I can only have 2 cheese meals a week. It would be crazy to have a deviation (and a set-back on your losses).

Ciao

tina: we would be on the rd 2 days for lunch so i would only have my cheese those 2 days and the rest i can cook my chicken. sorry i didnt write it out clearly b4 lol.

well 8.5cms and 1.1kgs gone yesterday. i feel so good and have heaps of energy.

yesterday the inlaws were trying to get me to eat lots of stuff. they r so jealous they made this cheese cake that i love and a whole spread of food but i got through it all. they even tried to make me out a snob for not eating but i still stayed strong.
It makes it hard but my hubby is supporting me heaps and telling me how good i am going like every few days (this is very not normal for him lol).
So from now on i am wearing baggy clothes to the inlaws place so they cant see how much i loose then when i get to my goal weight i will wear something to show them how good i have done and that will K!ll them lol.

Fantastic losses.

I know what it's like with In-laws, thank goodness mine are in another continent, so I don't have to "resist" them too often.

You must be so proud of yourself for resisting all the yummies.

The motto on the forum is :

"NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING THIN!!!"

Hugs

Hey Sassy! You're doing really well! You'll definitely be done by Christmas!

Good on you for resisting all the yummy foods! I tend to avoid situations where that comes up. I can't believe that your inlaws tried to sabotage you like that! Mine just keep asking me why I can't eat certain things 'because surely this is good for you'. Oh well, at least we don't have to deal with them every day

Hehe - put me in mind of a comment (sounds awful, but it fits...)

"Revenge is a meal best served cold !!"

You're firing on all cylinders, Sassy - go get 'em girl And give hubby a big hug - sounds like he's in your corner at least,

I worried about weighing everyday initially - but did it all the way through the program and still do....I actually think it is a good thing, helped me to identify patterns and gave me the motivation to keep going...your doing well
