balsamic with a tiny bit of olive oil, mustard powder, mustard seeds, salt and pepper

balsamic vinegar with chilli powder, finely chopped chilli (to taste), coriander powder, ginger powder, ginger powder, lemon juice and zest (optional, if you want to use your fruit option)

balsamic vinegar (simple but good)

bash up some basil, add some olive oil and balsamic

white wine vinegar, tiny bit of mustard powder, mayo, salt and pepper, chopped parsley, (haven't tried it yet, but looks good)

roasted or finely chopped chilli, crushed / finely chopped mint, lemon juice, olive oil

mint sauce: white wine vinegar and lots of finely chopped mint - infuse for a bit of time. if you like it a bit stronger, add some sprite zero (can also substitute chives for the mint if you want a different taste)

garlic (roasted or boiled is best) pureed / bashed in mortar and pestle or under the blade of a knife, or chopped really finely, lots of finely chopped parsley, oliv oil (quota), maybe a little bit of white wine vinegar or water to knock the edge off and make it a bit more like a dressing

asian inspired: lots of chopped up corriander, chilli (fresh or powder), ginger, rice wine vinegar, maybe some sprite zero to take edge off

hope this helps - havent tried all of these personally, however, the flavors should work (in my head they do at least)

Nice variety of recipes. But I am not too sure if we can use 'rice wine vinegar'. Anyone knows? My office office couldn't answer me too.

Really people!!!!

If it's not in your programme you can't have it!

Olive oil - tiny bit of spray only on the pan to cook.
No rice wine vinegar!
Can have white balsamic vinegar, red balsamic vinegar and black balsamic vinegar.

Can't have lots of anything - herbs and spices plus salt and pepper are one teaspoon combined for the day. Fresh herbs are weighed with your veges.

Sheesh - just do the programme.

Bumping this up!

is there a limit on the amount of olive oil we can use??? Or is it non-existent because of the spray? This spray thing is really getting on my nerves. What I see on the shelves are those with canola sprays and when I look at the ingredients on the label, I don't really like what I see. Soyabean Lechitin.. something like that.

Please teach me about the salad dressings please because my to-go dinners are usually going to be salad.

errr about the vinegar - my programme (Singapore) says that besides balsamic, and apple cider, I can also use red wine or white wine vinegar??

I haven't used the latter two because I am so gaga over balsamic and apple cider vinegar right now. I can't believe I survived one month's of Cohen without balsamic or apple cider vinegar, yoghurt or cheese!!!!
I embarked on the Cohen journey in Jan 2010 and lost about 13.2kg in three months or so. I mostly kept the weight off since until recently due to immense stress and grieving. Here I am once again on August 2018, older, wiser and heavier...

Divine, I think Shanara's post says it all. No olive oil for dressings. If you can't get spray you could put some in a spray bottle that has a 'mist' function (the ones younormally use for cleaning products or water for ironing!). Otherwise just put a little in your pan, swirl it around on heat then tip off all the excess. Or do what I do - use a non-stick frypan then no oil needed at all.
For dressing, I stick to my allowance of low fat mayo and only have balsamic vinegar very rarely as you need to limit it on the program

I sometimes put a LITTLE amount of oil in my pan (to cure it) then wipe it over with a paper towel. I figure the amount that is left would be the same as using a spray - or maybe even less.

Fresh basil finely chopped (from veg allowance), mixed in with mayo allowance.
Then add some fresh lime juice (depends on taste) and take out of fruit allowance,
Add about same amount of water.
Mix up in a container.
It is really tasty!

I used it over 2 meals, of cold chicken and salad.
