Smile Starting Again!

Hi,

I'm starting back on my old plan as of tomorrow.
Last year I lost the weight for my wedding, and was really happy with the end result (after a few ups and downs). Never got to refeed because I was doing Cohens right up until the wedding day (trying to lose as much weight as I could, typical crazy bride!).
I was sent the refeed doco but never got around to doing it - straight after the wedding we went on the honeymoon, and then moved into the new house, and I was having a ball eating and drinking whatever I wanted (BIG mistake!) and of course, the weight all came back on. In the most ridiculous amount of time (like, 3 months!)

So, after about 5 failed attempts to get back on Cohens and stick to it, I've decided to come back on here and be accountable (plus, have some support from you guys)!
I'm determined to do it right this time and see it through all the way to the end!

Hope I don't come across as needy, but I'd really love some support!
Has anyone else Cohen's a second time (on their original program) and found it OK?
I'm feeling very alone here

Hi Daniella,

I'm also back on Cohens again (after a few false starts). I've only been back on it for a couple of days but definitely going strong. Its amazing what happens when you reach an all time high with your weight. I know exactly what you mean about coming on here for accountability and support It makes you feel sooo good when you are eating what your body needs and not what your mind tells you it wants! I have my daily forum fix and it keeps me inspired and knowing that everyone is going through the same thing and faces the same challenges makes it so much easier.

I'm starting my diary tonight so feel free to drop by and say hi

HI Daniella,

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have had a wonderful time with your wedding and celebrations. Time to pay the piper so hope you are feeling excited about starting again.

Hope you don't mind but I have moved your thread into new members section so that the discussion section is kept free for Cohens issues and the new members thread is where forum members come to welcome new, and returning people.

As you know it works well and very soon you will be back in the zone and powering down your ticker. So feel free to start a diary in the new diary section, or if you like i can move this into the diaries and we can rename it as your diary. Just let me know if you would like to do that.

Enjoy the journey
Shanara

Just remember we are only human and we some times get it wrong and mess up but we have all realised what is good and bad for us and we have got back on the horse. we have not given in and let the FAT get the better of us. so i say it doesnt matter if its your 1st 2nd or 100th time you know why your here and what you have to do and we as you comrades will help you fight to win this battle. Take one step at a time and before you know it the wt will be gone and you will be free.

Hi Daniella, I went through refeed and got to maintenance and my weight has crept up again so I am back on the program for a while to get back to goal. I played around with trying to lose but it wasnt until I got on the forum to help make me more accountable that I started to see sustained losses. Good luck with me for second time around!
