Red face

I have a tattoo of a Unicorn on one side of my ribs and a Pegasus on the other side... I also have a black rose on my shoulder.. I went out with a tattoo artist when I was about 17 - and boy did it seem like a great idea at the time!
I couldn't stand the pain now.. I'm a sook...

Ooh I dont have one, but I do like the idea of either a tribal spiral design or lotus flower on the top of my spine, at the back of my neck,.

I absolutely LOVE the one I have!!!

It is butterflies and a rose and swirls that runs from my toes up to my ankle

My other one is a flower type thing that is on my hip - it kind of lost the battle it had with 2 pregnancies so is looking rather sad at the moment.

I am planning my next one (when I can get back to the tattooist in QLD) hopefully next year but I haven't quiet worked it out yet. It is going to have both my daughters names and probably some more butterflies or something maybe on my shoulder But I have to be able to add to it as I am hoping to have an addition to the family next year aswell.

hehe I have a couple, but am saving for my back piece now on my sacrum and extending out over both hips. It will be a trumpet flower like the one on my shoulder blade. Hubby has a bald eagle rending a us flag with it's talons on one shoulder and the nuclear radiation symbol on the other ( he's a Xray tech).

Default Heart

I have a tribal heart that spells the word LOVE inside it. The letters are also included in my son's name (Oliver) It's at the base of my back. And I got it after he was born. I think that when body art has a special meaning, it represents such a true art form in so many ways.

Much love,
Trips xxx

I have 3 at the moment, one on each shoulder and the most recent on the inside of my right wrist- frangipani flowers, which I got to celebrate my weight loss!
Got it the day after I finished re feed, something to remind me what I achieved, every day when I look at it.

Have none. Somehow, made it through the VN war without ending up with a black panther on my forearm like a large majority did. After I got out, I often heard from my father's generation (Dad was in the US Navy during the invasion landing on Okinawa) how they had wished they had never gotten them as they lost their meanings and clarity over the years (he has several as well). I figured that the cost of getting them plus the later cost of removal (and the scarring involved there as well) wasn't worth the short term whim. I have a son who is only 19 and wouldn't listen to common sense and has now covered half of his torso and one arm all the way down to the wrist with a total yakuza style body mural. Tried to talk him out of it but kids don't listen to common sense. He's lost several opportunities because here employers associate those types of "art" as secret society or gangsterism. I figure he's cut his own throat.

Girls with tats? I have a niece who is a professional tat artist in Florida. Other than that, no comment.......

I have 2. 1 I love. Little dolphins on my hip that I got with a couple of friends and one I hate on my shoulder that is so deformed. It was a heart but it now looks like a squashed bat!! Im saving up for that one to be removed.

When I have finished Im taking a trip to byron with my very good girl friends and getting a vine on my lower stomach. That will be my reward.

I've got two. A ying/yang on inner right forearm to remind me of give & take.

A rearing pegasus on my right shoulder blade, ready to soar my soul to heaven when I die

I might get a little butterfly on my ankle when finished refeed to mark my evolution from fat slug to beautiful butterfly

Ronky had to laugh about that squashed bat quip.

The tatt I have always wanted to get but are too chicken.

A dolphin jumping over my daughters name, the name would be written in a style that looks like water.
My princess loves water and dolphins, one of her happiest moments was when I took her swimming with dolphins at sea world.

Hey Steph,

Yeah I think I will get the belly ring, I just love the look of them - the ones with gem stones are my faves.

I have a tatoo, it a teddybear in a firemans outfit. The reason behind this is my husband is a fireman. I have it on my back in between my sholder blades. I have it there as he is always watching my back!!

I have 3, with another 3 planned.
I have a dolphin with my eldest son's name under it on my ankle, a butterfly with my daughter's name under it on my left shoulderblade, and Pearl Jam's Stickman on my right shoulderblade.
In the next few weeks, both my husband and myself are getting our angel baby's handprints tattooed next to our hearts in white ink... the handprints will have wings coming out from behind them and Noah's name & DOB/DOD will be underneath.
We're both also getting some of the music notes from "Real Love" by John Lennon tattoed on our backs. It will be the part that says " Seems that all I really was doing, was waiting for you" and it will have our wedding date under it.
Then... I am planning to get a 1/2 sun, 1/2 moon and a star tattoo for my youngest son... ever since he was born, I have called him my "Son & moon & stars" after losing Noah, he has made me remember what is important in my little universe.

I have just the one. Between the shoulder blades, it is a goddess symbol, it is that symbol you may have seen in Charmed. It symbolises the 3 stages of woman - virgin, mother and crone. Also in my case it stands for the power in a united family, being me, my hubby and our son.

After reading your bits I am thinking another after refeed would be nice.

My friend Jules and I are going to get a dragonfly on our right breast..when she has finished her radiation - dragonfly means hope..right breast, because that is where her lump was..it will only be seen to those that are lucky to see it!! ..it will symbolise the journey..I'm happy to do that..it will be my first.

I have a "tramp stamp" of a seahorse (in the lower back), a hieroglyph of a cat on my foot, and am getting my peacock tattoo on Friday. I'm lucky I don't have "tuckshop arms" so weight loss won't effect my tatt.
