Default Still eating 2-Much! Need motivation

Hi friends!javascript:emoticon('')
Laughing

Long time no chat and here we are into the 2nd month of the New Year already. Hope you all had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.

Well, I really don't know where to start. I have not had the time to read all of the new posts and to check up on everyone - but I trust you are all doing well. (Hi LF, Asy and Brie in particular!)

I have been terrible...off the program since about the 23rd Dec. Yes, excuses excuses but we were away on holidays at a destination that does not have the luxury of having a kitchenette or self-catering facilities. Yes - ALL meals were part of this little package! Oh Joy - only 5 kilos from goal and this is where I chose to torture myself! Well let it be said that when I returned from holidays on the 2nd Jan I was extremely pleased that I had only gained maybe 2 kilos. And considering that I ate everything I was very pleased with myself. I have not however returned to the Cohen's way of life. And it would seem that I am not on my own when I say just how hard it is to get back on the wagon. It is doing my head in. I really want to lose another 10 kilos (that will get me to the middle of the BMI recommendations and I think I will be lovely and lean at that weight. My tummy is still atrocious!) But I can not for the life of me get going again. I have attempted to start over three times and have not lasted more than 2 days. That fire in my belly is not burning as strongly as it used to. I need to get a rocket under me I tell you!

I don't want to blubber on too much (and the bubby is crying!) I just wanted to touch base with you all - get your encouragement and get on my way to skinnydom.

Well done to all of you. I hope next time I get to post I will be reporting a loss! Lots of love,
8-2Much.

PS) I got my refeed just before Xmas and was due to start it right on NYE! So, I have the little baby right here and I respect it greatly - I believe it may be the key to eternal skinny-ness. xxx

Hiya! Long time no see!!!

Have you been in to see Sue and get some motivation from her?

Just think, you have the choice... One more month and you'd be pretty much totally finished. Ok, well, maybe two.

Still, you've gone SO FAR, in fact far too far to throw it all in now, and you know if you don't finish properly, with refeed, you'll only end up creeping back to EEEK! again.

Default You can do it!!!

Hi 8-2Much, it is lovely to meet you, I am new to this and the forums etc, but i really enjoy the group hug sessions.

as i fellow mum, i completely sympathise about the belly thing. I am embarrassed to say but a few weeks ago, i needed to hold my breath while bending to tie my shoelaces...because of my belly.

So do it for the belly!!!

Some great advice that someone gave me when i was pregnant and frightened about the labour, she told me "take it one contraction at a time" and it worked! 20 h later i did it, all over...

so take it one meal at a time and before you know it, one month later, you will be on the other side.

This is what i am doing because it is too daunting to imagine the next up to 20 weeks of my life, however, i can handle thinking about the next 3 meals...

So i am happy to be part of your cheerleading squad!!! Go, 8-2Much, Go, 8-2Much, GO!!!

good luck

x

Come on 8-2 much!
I wanna see you do the refeed!!!!!
how good will it feel to complete it properly, rather than just sort of complete it.

I am worried about the amount of people who "Almost" finish Cohen's, don't do their refeed or stuff it up along the way and then pile it all back on!!!
(just look at the other forum's there's always someone who's coming back cause they didn't make it to refeed, slacked off and before they know it the've gained another 20kg.....)

I know how hard it is to change the habit and also how easy it is to go back to old habits. For example in feb 2006 i quit smoking. Went cold turkey. not one stinky cancer stick for this girl..... and then it all went to **** over christmas and i'm smoking as if i had never quit. Straight back on to it. 25 of the dirty little suckers a day.

I don't want to do that with this diet I will stick to cohen's untill i have completed my refeed, then and only then will i allow myself to consume in moderation all the things i watch my other half eat and enjoy.

I don't want to be fat again. I want to do my refeed as quick as possible and get on with enjoying my life!
I mean REALLY enjoying my life. I don't want to do another Diet EVER Ever again.

you can do this! Imagine the sense of achievement you will have when you reach goal, complete Refeed and have done it all by yourself!
:!: WOW :!:
