Smoking
I'm through my first week and have lost 5kg which is great, but I'm really concerned about not giving up smoking at the same time. Does anyone out there smoke? Does it affect weight loss? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated... Suzy |

Re: Smoking
Not sure if it does but I know it's highly recommended that you quit if you do.. might be a nice opportunity to quit if you can.. I went all health freak like & quit coffee there for a bit too.. felt good after about 3 weeks.

Re: Smoking
Hi SuzyQ, I was a pack a day smoker for 20 years and only gave up in March. my advice would be tackle one challenge at a time. honestly, giving up the smoking was harder than loosing weight. maybe when you are trim tort and terriffic, and maintaining you body excercise will replace the smokes. I still want a smoke to this day, but dont. and yes i think it does affect weight gain but then i perhaps replaced smoking iwth eating and put on a lot of weight.
