Welcome Isha

Cohens rocks! It's just so nice to see and feel the weight dropping off, and compared to anything I've done before, it's easy! It requires loads of discipline, but as I said, the success is very rewarding. I'm a daily weigher, and I found that most days I lost at least 100 or 200 gr, sometimes nothing, very few times put on 100 gr or so (mostly due to a deviation....), and sometimes dropped 1 kg after a bit of a plateau. So all very encouraging!

Good luck!

Katrin

Hi Isha,

Welcome to this wonderful, helpful and friendly forum. Once you start here you will find your way around soon enough. As Pudge has said if there is anything we can help with just ask but if you haven't already started a diary for yourself so that when you feel like it you can put down your thoughts, dreams and frustrations so later when you are down the track you can read over it and look back to where you once were.

Make sure you stop by the other sites here like 'Tips, Tricks and Recipes' and the 'Cohens Lifestyle, First Personal Diet' board and have a read. There are many and varied suggestions to help you along especially in the early days where things can get a little overwhelming.

I wish for you all the success that goes with being on this program and if you take it one day and one step at a time you will get to where you want to be. Just be patient and it will work for you just like all the others here.

Melissa

Welcome Isha,

And well done on taking the step to starting with Cohens. I get thrilled when I hear how people feel within a VERY SHORT TIME on this journey. If you haven't already, spend a bit of time reading some of the diaries in "Personal Diaries" - and, as Melissa said, start one for yourself.

You may well be AMAZED at how good you feel in only a few short WEEKS. No, you won't get to your goal in that time, but you may well shed MANY Kgs quite quickly - and that leads to more energy, feeling better, looking better.... Anyway some of those diaries say it WAY better than me. So, come in and enjoy the help and encouragement available right here.

I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Hows it going - I'm not that far away from you - best of luck and you will do so well and feel so healthy after a few weeks on this program - are you going to the concert in Roma on Sunday ?. My wife and I and some friends are going to have a look - will be a big day no doubt so we are staying the night so as to get some fruit and things on Monday before we come home. I grew up about fifty miles to the north of where you live - in the scrub - but good good country air.

Good to know you - I have heard today they are expecting over 10 000 on Sunday - I am glad I'll have my tucker with me - I would hate to be trying to get a feed in Roma - all good - if ever out this way - Augathella - call in in and say good day.

Hope all goes well for you and you achieve what you want - so glad you have some friends that have done the program - at least one who can help if need be - but you will get any help you need here on this forum - just ask and you will get a reply sure and certain.

All the best old mate - have a good one.

Andy
