How slow/fast did your last 5 kgs come off?
I am aiming to be finished the weight loss part of my program by 21 March, and have about 16kgs to go. Weight is moving well at the moment, but in the past I have found the last 5kgs pretty stubborn. I am wondering if I have set myself an unrealistic goal or if this is achievable? I will need to lose 1.5kgs every week to get there. I know several people are close and are having trouble, so I dont want to set myself up for failure. |

My loss rate slowed down slightly at the end, but not very much. I think that some others, hexi springs to mind if you care to hunt up her old diary, found their losses sped up at the end. My chart for the diet and refeed is here: . As you see, despite my weight loss not being steadily down on a daily basis, long term it was remarkably steady.

Started 11/1/08. Lowest weight reached 63.8 kgs on 10/11/08 and 40 kgs down. Thank you Dr Cohen.
Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time. My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight. My losses in the last 5 weeks were:
-1.4kg -700g -1.1kg -700g -1.4kg We are all different so the loss rate will vary quite a bit I think. Shell

I was surprised that my losses didn't slow down but I was always a slow loser anyway, 1.5 kg a week sounds like a miracle to me, well done you!
This is a great thread, AJ started it ages ago, it's a shame other people haven't kept it going. All my weight and cm losses are there: x Loulou
