I thought this was an interesting article about keeping weight off permanently - lots of Cohen maintenance advice.

Thanks for the link Meagain. How wonderful it will be to put our blog on there, say in 2 yrs time, e.g. for me, i lost 16kg 2 yrs ago and have never looked back! I did it the Dr Cohen way, maintain effortlessly within the lifestyle guidelines and walk every day with a few light weights for exercise and for health and vitality! What do you think you would write after 2 yrs? Pandora

I hope to be able to say. "2 years ago I lost 36kgs following the Cohen's Lifestyle program," gave up a job that I did not like, started bush-walking, made many, new friendships, got a new job that I love(haven't started yet-this week!) & have since maintained my weight , within my goal weight range, following Dr Cohen's maintenence guidelines & feel fit, healthy, happy & vibrant!"
I can say that 4 months down the track anyway. Cheers, Cate.

Hi Cate, Wow you are doing really really well. Good for you. My name is Cate too, and I am on Day 10 of my 16 day refeed, and I am becoming anxious, about not only the next 6 days but the rest of my life. I have lost 31 kg and I cannot believe how good this feels and how happy I am

It gives me great hope for the future now that I have read of your experience and how you are manging. I sort of decided that I was not going to venture too far from what I have been eating and doing over the past 7 months, as I am determined not to regain any of the weight and to feel this fabulous forever

Keep up the good fight

Cheers

Cate
