Belgian Sylvia'a Chicken
Recipe DescriptionSauteed Sweet and Spicy Chicken Ingredients:Chicken
onion
green pepper
tomato
chili flakes or fresh chili
garlic powder
sweetner<optional)
peach
sprite or water
sweet paprika
hot paprika
salt
pepper
Optional Veggies:you can mix and match your favorites
zuchinni
mushrooms
spinach
cauliflower Preparation Steps:dice your chicken and sautee with the tomato, onion and green pepper. Level of Difficulty:Easy Time Needed:15 minutes Serves: Instructions:Add a grated piece of peach, plus a little water or sprite and/or sweetner to your chicken tomato, onion and green pepper. I did a piece of peach about 2 by 2 cms, and then cubed another piece of peach and threw it in there too.
Then I threw some garlic powder, then added the chilis and chili flakes, some salt and pepper.I cooked it on low.
Then I added a mixture of sprite and water to make like a half cup of liquidy saucy mixture.
Then I threw the paprika in to the mixture and some pepper(I like black pepper on EVERYTHING) so bpepper isnt necessary for some with all the spicy chilis.
Then I added my veggies that i like
Zuchinni,shrooms, and spinach.
I bet it would be tasty with cauli rice.
the original recipe called for ketchup, cayenne, the juice off of canned peaches(that is why I grated the peach),lemon juice, flour, milk, frying the chicken in onion and butter.etc you know how those belgians are.
I am going to make it again! Ya'll might want to mess around with the veg and spice allowance. It tasted kind of oriental. NYF Recipes
