Ricecake rissotto

Recipe Description

Chicken and mushroom rissotto

Ingredients:

chicken
mushrooms
green capsicum
spring onion
garlic
chilli
diet sprite

Preparation Steps:

15 mins

Serves:

Instructions:

soak the ricecake in a sml amount of sprite until it resembles rice, whilst cooking the rest.

slowly cook chicken so as its not dry, then add garlic and chilli.

add vegies and a splash of sprite, then finally add the mushy ricecake.

There you go Ricecake Rissotto!

IS ricecake allowed? I don't have it in my programme but I wish it was! Rice is a staple in Asia...

Divine - yes, we are allowed one rice cake (thin) in place of 2 crispbreads. I always thought it was dry and kinda boring so thanks melly for the recipe!

i found brown rice ricecakes, is it allowed? The rest had all sort of other things added.

I had this today for lunch and thought it was terrific. I added a tsp. of mayo though and already had a turkey steak pre-cooked and frozen so kind of cooked the vege's first and then added the chopped meat. So quick and tasty!! Thanks for another great cooking idea!
