Default Motivational Challenge

This is a challenge for everyone, but I think would serve the purpose to people who are doubting that they can achieve what may seem impossible, getting to their goal weight.

Do the following steps and see if it works for you.

1. If you haven't thought of a reason why you should lose this weight, get one, write it down, and then remind yourself everyday why you MUST lose this weight.

2. Find before and after shots of people who before you have succeeded (I use the Cohen's marketing material) and keep reading their stories, and be inspired by the visual stimulus there. Do this everyday!

3. Write goals, so important, and do it in small increments because the whole idea is that once you reward yourself with something, it won't be long before you can expect to achieve the next reward. Do it by every 5kg increments, its easier.

4. So what will the new you wear when you get there? This is where you can be creative, get a board, and scour the magazines of the things you want to wear, or if there are old photos of you in an outfit you want to be in again, put it up and look at it everyday at the new you that you will be.

5. Be thankful for everything in your life. People so often forget to do this in life because it seems easier to get wrapped up in the negative things and what we don't have in life. Well here be thankful for the small things, an example is: 1. The air I breathe 2. That I have lost 3.5kg in just 6 days 3. That I have followed Cohen's 100% 4. That I have an awesome husband 5. That I have great food to eat. Be creative it can be anything that you can be thankful for!
Just do 5 at least a day everyday, I Am getting you to change the way you think about things, look at the positive of life. Get a journal, get into the habit of doing this, it will change your life.

5. Excuses, excuses, excuses of why I should not lose weight, we all go through this, if this is you write down all the excuses why you HAVE to lose this weight read it and speak it to yourself EVERYDAY. Come on guys, no matter how many excuses you may say whether that "oh I couldn't follow it 100% because I went out with my girls and it was too hard" oh come on what a weak excuse, YOU HAVE TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT SO THAT YOU CAN GO SKYDIVING, OR GET MARRIED LOOKING GREAT. Don't deprive yourself of a great life GET DETERMINED YOU WILL DO THIS, ONLY YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE AND WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO DO.

6. Don't be pressured by your peers. Now this may seem harsh, but it is true. If you have friends who think you are stupid for taking this step, or that they are just plain unhelpful, do the above and then tell them to respect your decision and that you will achieve it. NEVER give into their doubts just because this may be the 10th different diet you have tried with no luck. Your actions of achieving it first time will make them stand up and notice you.

7. Erase "I CAN'T" in your vocabularly or any other language that makes you procrastinate such as "I Should lose weight" or "I should follow it 100%", replace it with "I WILL" and "I CAN".

8. Understand your body, do you emotionally eat? or is your mind telling you different and bringing your down, whatever it is go on a journey of discovery, find out what it is and find a solution to beat your weakness. Only until you overcome the weaknesses that you will succeed. This could even be something you were called at school that just shattered you as a child, you never know...

9. Change your language and way of thinking, come on people, you are only limited by what you tell yourself you can and can't do in life. Take control of your life by the horns and know that you are in control and that only you can make things happen in life and that you can do it! But change your language to positive all the time. It may take a while to be used to this, but TRUST me it works when you get into the habit of it.

10. Just go out there and just do it and lose those unwanted kilos and LOOK AND FEEL GREAT! As you change your mindset, don't be surprised that things in other parts of your life begin to change for the better.

My last words, no problem is something without a solution, every problem is with a solution. Sometimes it takes a while to work out what that is, and some you may think are impossible, but when it comes to just you, you do have the power to change you. REMEMBER ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, IT JUST TAKES A DECISION TO DO IT.

I forgot to add for point number 6 peoples to not care what your friends say, let your actions speak louder than what you tell them.
