Hi everyone and especially Kiwi Cohenites. De Winkles yoghurt has Locust Bean Gum in it, it is also called Carob gum and it comes from the Carob tree and is extracted from the seeds. It is used as a thickener and gelling agent.I have not managed to get hold of my clinic yet to check out if this thickener is okay.Does anyone know about it?. It is not listed on the ingredients on the carton but I rang the company because I noticed how much thicker the yoghurt became after blending it with mango and letting it sit.The company was very helpful and the yoghurt is yummy but it better be checked out.I also will ring whoever makes Cyclops yoghurt just in case there is something unlisted.
