Default Starting out

Hi Team!

Part time lurker, first time poster.

Started on Cohens mid-March, things are going really well. Looking forward to taking the journey with you all!

Hope to stick it all the way through and make it as fun and original as possible.

Some of the recipes I have noted look fab and i'm salivating just thinking of trying them out.

Onwards and downwards (in weight) <3 Mama

I need to stay vigilant and make sure I don't lapse back into the old habits or else my condition will reappear. (Found in the GEM part of the forums - Love it!)

Good luck Mama, hang in there it's well worth the (weight) wait hahahaha get it...
You will feel amazing once others start to comment on your progress, as well as you seeing the fat come off...
This is second time, first ime back in 2009 I lost 44 kgs recently I gained about 7-10 kgs outside where im happy sitting...so last day if refeed x2 is tomorrow....very happy that I'm back in my "happy place" weight that is between 63-65 kgs

You will do fine, be strong and stayed committed to achieving this goal for you as ou are worth it...
Look forward to following your progress

Cheers di

And so true about the recipes! Honestly, the stuff you can do with your allowance still blows my mind. My husband and I feel like we eat like kings!!

Welcome Mama from another newbie!
You have done so well so far! Looking forward to seeing your progress! I'm starting mid-late April hopefully, and have about 60kg to lose according to dr Cohen. So we are all in this together!

I love the quote! It's so true. I think that the reason I'm back for a 2nd time doing Cohens is that I didn't see it like this the first time around. I thought I was 'cured' and could go back to the way I was eating before.
Di's right about how good it makes you feel when others comment on how good you look. But it's also good to look at the 'no comments' people because they can also make you feel good about your efforts! How? The 'no comments' people are the ones that are just plain envious!!!!

Thanks all - its amazing how supportive everyone is here - we all have the same goals and direction here - finding our own "little us" and learning to be healthy.

Thanks for the idea about facebook recipes Runninggirl - I'm a natural foodie and love to experiment with food. My partner hates it because I love to bake things that aren't that good for them health wise. Finding recipes that I can use on the family will not only help my own weight loss but will help them too. They are being extremely supportive about my plan and I think between the family and the wonderful people here on the forum that I CAN DO THIS!
