Default Yoghurt as Lunch and Dinner

Does anyone here take yoghurt as their lunch and dinner main meals? Is it advisable to do so?

I am just planning ahead of times on days that I cannot afford to bring my lunches/dinners with me. I am newbie in maintenance and taking it really slow so I am still eating home-cooked food. Outside foods tend to "numb" my tongue due to the added salt and MSG.

Default Re: Yoghurt as Lunch and Dinner

fornight, I still take my own tuna or chicken salad to work for lunch every day in my trusty biokips boxes! For me it's the safe choice. But if somebody order in (birthday or bon voyage) then I'll eat the garbage less the rice or noodles and my lunch goes home to become supper!

Yogurt? Yuuuckkkk! I can stand it even at breakfast.

Yes, I had it for dinner before. Meaning I had yogurt for brekky and dinner on the same day. No harm I guess... we're on maintenance, suppose to be able to eat anything and everything in moderation.

Does it make you more hungry if you have it as dinner?

How much did you take? I am thinking maybe 300g?

250g sounds reasonable if with fruits.

For the last 4 days I have been eating them plain but with some sweeteners as snack. Found them great in terms of curbing cravings. Hopefully this effect will last long.

I have never tried them as dinner before. When I brought it back home last night, my mum asked me about it. I told her I was contemplating to use it as snack and maybe dinner. She was like HUH! How can! They are so tart! It will make you hungry and what kind of dinner is that!
