Default All Brisbane people

Looking at people locations I have noticed so many people who live in Brisbane. So I have thought about this for awhile and I think it would be a great idea if whoever could, met up in brisbane somewhere. Ok so im not sure if people think this is a good idea or not but as I am from brisbane I would love meet others and just get a little inspration from others and chat with people who are going through what I am. Please let me know what you think people of brisbane.

Thanks Nat.

All
I would think this a great idea, meeting up say once a month (or fortnightly) would be more motivation on my side (need all the help I can get) & it may help others keep motivated as well

I live on the Southside - a park or even say McDonalds Cafe could be a start for the get-to-gethers

Count me in!!

Sounds a great idea, Nat!

I've been thinking about it for a while, too.

If you don't mind, I'd love to come along...

To weigh in my thoughts, if that's OK... Could everyone interested list the days in the next two weeks they ARE available, and their location so we can try to organise somewhere relatively central, on a day which suits most, and what time of day suits people.

Also, not during School Holidays (it's a pain, and I'm away... )

Next two weeks doesn't include this week (I'm not here this week, and it'll take longer than that to get the replies).

So, from me, Anytime in the next two weeks (after this week), and I live in Salisbury, so anywhere within 10k south of the city suits, and during the day ?lunchtimeish?.

asy

PS: I hate McDonalds.

I would love to meet with you guys. I live in Brighton but work at the airport. I am happy to travel to meet you guys as driving doesn't bother me. Let me know when and where.
Cheers

Ok so asy your south of brisbane and cant meet up this week and likes to do lunch times.

Ok lets see what day is gunna be best.

Ok for me I live 45mins north of brisy Im thinking how would meeting near brisy be for everyone.

Days Im free everyweek day after 3pm and free all weekend

Asy you said lunchtimes is doable for you umm hows weekends.
Gumnut, ecogirl and melissa your free most days is that correct? Please feel me in when you each are avaliable.

This is really exciting I cant wait to meet everyone and just see everyone shrink in size.

Hopefully if its just a few of us to start with slowly we will be joined by many other brisvegas people.

I think this is going to really help us all along and we will all be an encouragement to each other.I know at this moment in my life i really need a hand along.

Any day should be ok with me - I do work but this is also important so I should be able to take sometime off (I will make up for it later) The only time I can not make it would be if Staff do not come to work & I have to fill in - do not know this until the last moment

I think it is a great idea - glad you thought of it (or at least put it on paper out there - I am sure others have thought about it but not sure how to begin or if anyone else thought the same

Let's make this happen

Lunch time suits me best because otherwise I need to bring girl-child. She's pretty cool, though, so I could do after-school one day, if that suits most. (so long as the place has hot chocolate for her!!!)

Now, being as there are a few coming from the North of BNE, including airport and if I remember correctly Bribie, I suggest Carindale Shopping Centre, it's easy to get to off the Gateway, and easy from the south. IF it's going to be afterschool, and IF chirmside suits, then could we do it on Thursday arvo, please, that way it's late night shopping and the trip can be a two-things-at-once, thing.

I can't do weekends (to answer someone's question) because we go to the farm every weekend. Tuesday and Friday nights my daughter is at Choir, and Monday's Dog training... Oh to have a simple life... hehe

Ok, just have to see WHICH Thursday...

Next week looks OK to me at this stage... Just pick a time that suits everyone.

My daughter's 11, by the way, in case anyone's considering bringing their kids.

I thought we said 4.30, but 5 is fine, and maybe more accessible to most.

And, I said CARINDALE, not Chirmside. Could everyone please confirm CARINDALE or Chirmside (I'm not sure I'd come to Chirmside, I'd have to see, I'll have to look up where in daylights it is!)...

Hopefully, Seeyas there. I'll be the one with the gorgeous pink child.

Baloo, yer a dill, but I suspect you knew that.

Carindale, Chermside much of a muchness. Which ever is good. 4:30 or 5 is also ok. Amanda maybe we could meet at Carindale one time and Chermside another. Whatever suits most is fine. Looking forward to it wherever whenever. Just let me know.

I dont mind doing one one time and one the other time Im happy either way. Carindale is a little bit further but not much thats fine ill just go down the gate way we might have to make it 5:30pm coz traffic could be really stressful going along the gate way. I think it will be a trial and error the first time to see how long it takes. Im really excited this is actually happening it is going to be great to meet everyone. There is the cutest little shoe shop at carindale has nice shoes there.
