Default My journey

Today is day two and I nearly ballsed the whole thing up by not thinking about what I was going to eat in advance. All sorted now a fridge full of approved foods and planning the night before just in case I don't have an ingredient. Ideally I'd like to plan a couple of days ahead but baby steps. I have decided to take daily photos and review them at the end of my journey, if I am going to lose 35kg it will be a nice reminder down the track. Currently 114kg.

Welcome Rhinobacker! I find it easiest to buy a lot of meat from the butcher and put them into ziplock bags at appropriate weights and freeze. I pull out whatever I will need the night before or first thing in the morning and it has been heaps easy so far. Good luck on your journey!

Hi Rhinobacker, I'm day 3 and have just rearranged my fridge too so it is mostly Cohens friendly. I have 30kg's (gosh I never realised that I was that overweight) and it does seem a huge task but if others can do it, then I am sure that I can too. It great to have this forum where everyone is so encouraging.

Day 3, yesterday I was as tired and hungry as hell. I planned my meals up to dinner which my darling wife printed off and laminated all these recipes the clinic sent me. She suggested I tried the Jamie Oliver lemon and garlic chicken, OMG it was good. But back to my tired and hungry, early start plus lack of good night sleep made Justin irritable and this must have been one of those times I use to smash a choccy in the afternoon. Got past it and went to bed early, yeh me!

This has been the single best piece of advise I have been given, I really appreciated it and I am positive this and motivation have stopped me from going off the rails. Thanks
