My progress so far,

Started on 16/8- 64.6kg
today 21/8 - 61.4 kg.

Happy with my progress so far... But worried it is just water loss.

Btw, can i take my apple and crackers 2 and half hr before i sleep?

The initial loss will be water - the years of water retention. Your real fat loss will probably starts somewhere in your 2nd week. But whatever the case, even if it is water, it is a good loss - congratz and keep up the good work. This programme works no matter what others might say. I lost 33kg the first time and returning now to just lose around 6kg.

I eat my apple before I sleep hahahaha. Never had any problem. But again, you might not want to try. Eating crackers 2.5 hrs - hmmm technically you should not eat carbo too late?

took me about 7.5 mths to lose all that... was worth it all.

You'll get there... just be patient and don't ever deviate... it'll just lengthen the time.

actually, once you enter the "zone", everything else becomes easy. I think I'm lucky cos I am not too fussy with food... it just have to be of good quality taste. So, I basically stick with the few I really like and before I knew it, the months were gone. If you keep counting down, it is bad. Just take one day at a time and keep yourself happy and you know you will be especially when your clothes start falling off you literally!

Hi NP,

What's this?
Quote:

The "happy" bit is good - but, what is this "worried" thing?

If you are shedding weight, surely you are SHEDDING WEIGHT ??? Aren't you? And, it is this water weight that is what gives the early weeks their huge result (just like FlaMie said).

Big clue follows - - stay HAPPY, not "worried", and just live as you work your way down to "the girl you were always meant to be". This will work, but you can't dictate HOW your body will get rid of the Kgs, so please don't try. OK?? There may well be NO LOSS days, even weeks - but, overall, you will likely be VERY happy in a few short months

All you CAN do, is to stick to the rules, and let your body do the best it can for you - true? So, get into that, and be HAPPY !!! Fair enough?

Koh

Yea listen to koh puppy, he has read and seen enough success cases. Don't set yourself up for disappointment. I'm one famous case of long plateau of weeks of no loss... but when the weight decides to move again, it moves BIG time. Be happy to know that YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING to rid those weights but don't set yourself up with over the moon expectations cos it just ain't realistic. Hang on to the TRUTH that the weight will be lost soon enough!

Welcome NP to Cohen,

Good to see more Singapore member on the forum!

Agreed with Koh & Flamie, it's all in the mind, and you'll need to make "peace" with yourself and stop thinking you're "missing out" on other food you are not enjoying, coz they're all TEMPORARY! Once you hit your refeed and maintenance you'll get to include them in your meals again..

In my plan I have 30kg to loose, and I'm grateful I'm 1/3 through so far...

When weight doesn't move, your body may be shrinking.. so keep wearing those clothes you're wearing before soon you can't wear them anymore coz they'll loose...

Chin up! and charge on!!

Hello NP,

I take YoPlait Natural (blue color) at 98% fat free. If taking plain, I add half packet of sweetener - but otherwise some Cohenites will add their fruit allowance or crumble some cracker for texture...

I prefer taking my yoghurt plain, so I could have my fruits & cracker later...

I take the Marigold one - it is an acquired taste... you need to adjust your taste buds and the sooner you get used to no sugar, the better - it helps you subsequently after the programme NOT to take any more sweetened food. I haven't added sugar for 2 years already. I don't have a choice if the food is already sweetened but I no longer enjoy sweet food.., which is good!

Yes.. I realized too.. Previously, I am a total sugar addict.... I love deserts and sweets.. That is y my weight increase from 42g to 65 kg in 10 years.. Now I found that I do not crave for sweet stuffs but want to take food like hawker food, steak etc...

Today is my day 10, overnight drop 400g to 59.6kg.... I am so happy...

Initially, I thought that today I would feel heavier coz I took yogurt with mango yesterday morning...hmm.... But it actually drops 400g... As of today, my total lost is 5kg in 10 days....Think it is important to have a balance diet rather than eat just eggs all the time....

Thanks for all your encouragement...
dee, u did a great job..1/3 means 10 kg

Thanks for all your support...
