Default Weight Gain on Reset

I've just done 2 days carb free and put on 0.8 kg!!! Anyone else experienced such a delight? Good fruit only, crispbreads, veg and protein plus 3 litres of water a day. I'm a bit bamboozled.

x

Not sure about that Lucylou.
Can you write down when and what you ate for the the day?
That might be helpful.

LouLou, I replied in your diary. I'm wondering if this close to finishing your body thought you might be going to starve it again and let the fat retention hormones loose. I'd be pretty sure it's fluid retention, so should go, but it's taking longer than you expected.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Thanks AJ and Shell- I've read your replies in my diary too.

This is what i ate both days:

breakfast: boiled egg, veg and 2 CBs

Lunch; chicken salad

Dinner: beef mince with vegetables..like a cohens bolognaise but no pasta.

Snacks 1 apple and 1 small mango plus 3 CBs through out the day

3 litres of water on Monday and I realised I only drank 2 litres yesterday.

However I did do quite a bit of exercise on both days which would have been a surprise for my body. i walked for an hour on Monday and started using the Whole Body vibration machine yesterday. Not having exercised for so long...maybe that's waht did it. We'll find out soon!

If you have used your muscles they will hold fluid to repair themselves, could be that as well.

It will go, LouLou. I don't think our bodies react properly at the moment. I'm confident it's just fluid.

Hi there

!'ve just done another 2 days carb free, this time with no crackers or fruit and it worked a charm. 1.5 kg gone in 48 hours...love it.
