Default Dreams

This is going to sound completely wierd but I just wanna know that I am not the only one here this happens to.

For the past few nights I have been dreaming about bread and hot choclate and regular chocolate and pizza and chicken and potato wedges burger with whole egg mayo (that is like my gross super fatty indulgence). I dream I'm on my diet and am breaking my diet and eating all these foods, and it feels so real I wake up and I feel these feeling in the following order -1)Panic and guilt I ate that stuff and 2) Relief it was just a dream and then 3) Happiness cause I literally had my cake and ate it too, lolz!

Has this ever happened to anyone else? My friend joked that perhaps I was eating that stuff while sleep walking but I know that isn't it because I don't buy that stuff at all to begin with. I did check the fridge and kitchen anyway, just to be safe. Has this happened to anyone doing cohens? Or any diet at all?

Hey DI, Its the HGH at work _ I had some doosies of dreams and smells, sometimes all my food and EVERYTHINg would have "weird' (chocolate, popcorn, KFC) smells and tastes that were the complete opposite of reality.

It's a good thing, embrace it and know that the hormones are doing their stuff!

hehehe this made me giggle. Yep I've had them too and STILL have them. My favourite was where I ate a 3 course meal by chewing and spitting it out for the ENTIRE meal! Woke up feeling very accomplished that I ate what I wanted but didn't actually eat it...then realised it was a dream...LOL!

But you'll get to points where you wake up and can actually taste it or smell whatever your dream consisted of...THAT is freaking! But yep...the guilts feel totally real...and your dreams will get weirder the deeper you get into the first few weeks

Have fun with them! Kirst xo

Hi DI,

Revel in THIS one :-

I suspect it is simply your sub-conscious "getting its act together" and finding its own way of getting into step with the "New You".

Enjoy it, DI - it is all working in your favour !! Rock on, And no, you are not alone in this !!

Hi DI, yep, I had some of the most bizarre dreams in the beginning, kept me satisfied though they were so real I didn't feel the need for the real thing! Maybe our mind really is on our side!

Thanks guys, it's great to know I'm not the only one. I was just kinda worried if it meant I had an unhealthy relationship with food or something but I feel much more at ease now, thank you!

Yep I had them when I first started the diet too and it was really scary at times...

Don't get them much anymore (or just used to having them?)
