Question Why do some lose weight faster than others?

Hi Guys, I have been pondering on this question for a while. The obvious answer is well we are all individuals and not everyone responds the same. I am interested though in seeing what may be the factors/triggers that mean some lose 6kgs in their first week and others only 2kgs and how on an ongoing there is such variation.
Obviously we all need to be deviation free to achieve optimal results, but what are those other intangibles?
Does drinking more water make a difference?
Less exercise and more sleep seems to help
Less stress seems to help

Im just brainstorming here guys any ideas?

Also have people noticed things they do differently on the weeks they have their best losses?

Love to hear everyones experience/ideas as obviously we all want to get to goal ASAP!

Louise

Starting weight, basic metabolism, general level of normal activity, age, all have an effect, Louise.

I don't think that you can do anything to speed up weight loss, but you can slow it down with stress, not enough sleep, deviations, etc.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Well obviously your starting weight is going to be a factor, but also how long you have been overweight, and how much damage has been done to your body through obesity, as your body is now going to be trying to heal itself with Cohen's, isn't that why they say 'food is your medicine'.

Also, how much determination and motivation you have.
If you have any people trying to sabotage you at every corner also makes it more difficult.
