well, i think i've noticed an interesting trend with my weight loss.
When i lose mass amounts of weight (i.e up to a kilo overnight) i have really, really vivid dreams and i need more sleep than usual.
My normal routine is to bounce out of bed at 5.30 am (my body clock wakes me up even with only 5 hours sleep!), but for the last 3 mornings i have been hitting the snooze button on my alarm and sleeping till 7-7.15am. Two nights sleep (tues and weds - with late start times and really REAL dreaming) have resulted in a 1.5kg loss!
: Interesting huh :
I find my body loses weight rapidly, then stops for a while, then the cm's come off, then the weight slowly creeps off, followed by a stop then the cycle begins again. BUT the massive drop in weight is always accompanied by the need for extra sleep and dreaming!

I totally agree about sleep.

I have a really bad habit of going to bed at about 3am, and getting up as usual at 7am. I find over weekends I tend to go to bed earlier (around midnight) and I find if I can go to bed for, say, 4 nights in a row at midnight, then I lose a heap.

If I have a whole week of 3am (4 hours sleep) then I tend to lose very little if anything.

No idea about the dreams, I don't really dream...

Briezel I've also noticed that the quality of sleep can make a big difference, of course if I didn't have to pee at 2.00am I'm sure my quality and quantity would improve greatly
