Tattoos and Weight-Loss
I thought if i am going to get one (first ever) on my hip area i would think it would hurt less if there is still some 'padding' over the bone. When i was close to goal last time most of me felt fairly bony and I still had 15kgs to go! Any insight? Do words still look readable after a great deal of weightloss?

Re: Tattoos and Weight-Loss
I thought about the similar case: when a guy makes tattoo on his arm when he is skinny and after that he is working out. I used to think the tattoo would distort however it turned out rather good.

Re: Tattoos and Weight-Loss
I have a couple of tattoos on various areas of my body - ankle, wrist, small of back. My personal rules for tattoos is to make them meaningful (you want to still like it in 40 years), place them where they can covered easily (I love tats but not everyone does) and ensure that any changes in my body wouldn't ruin the tattoos effect/message (I figured as I aged my body would change through weigh gain, and loss, pregnancy etc).
A friend with a tat on her hip was left with a large stretch mark right through the middle of her tattoo after she was pregnant - she's been told it would be difficult to fix so perhaps consider the placement of tats in areas of your body susceptible to physical changes like hips, stomach, butt, thighs etc. What you might also find with tattoos gotten whilst 'larger' is that the finer details may be lost and your skin shrinks with fat loss. It would depend on the tattoo you picked, the details, the colours etc. A good tattoo artist will guide you through your decision.
