Default 2nd time around

Hello Everyone

I started Cohens 8.11.10 and lost 15kg in 5 months. Slow I know, probably because I didn't stick to it 100%. I did not start refeed as I did not reach my target weight before my program expired and did not want to pay any more money. I did keep going with the basic principles and managed to lose another 5kg (so 20kg in total). I was doing really well maintaining this until December 11, then not sure why but I completely went off the rails and have put on 5kg in 6 weeks!!! So I am back into it full on now (using my old program), third day today and I am feeling GREAT!! This time I am determined to get to my goal weight of 55kg.....currently 64kg. So here goes.......wish me luck I hope to be at goal weight before Easter.

Hi Swan christmas is certainly not a good time for diets. Good on you for getting back on the program. I wish you every success! This forum is a great source of support and motivation to help keep you going. I must say I find it invaluable!

Swan that's great, I am remote from where I did my program so this was my lifeline. Keeping a diary certainly helps to make you more computer savvy

Good to see you are making up for that this time, and doing well. Keep on, and keep in touch. If you wish we can even make this thread "your Diary" if you wanted.

And good on you for maintaining for so long - sounds VERY hopeful, doesn't it? See, it can happen - and if Xmas throws you for a loop, just get back into it and all can be good again.

Rock on, Swans,

Koh

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Thanks heaps Koh..... Day 4 and I really am feeling sooooo much better within myself. I was complaining to my other half for at least couple of weeks that I felt ordinary and how much better I felt when I was on the program. Must say i am surprised that it has only taken 4 days to feel better! Would be great to make this thread my diary. How do i do it??

Welcome back 2nd time rounder's. I'm not sure if I should be calling myself a 2nd time rounder as I had a break of 4 weeks during an operation and Xmas combined. Back into it now after a disgusting gain. Decided to do a Mango challenge to really keep me on track and day 3 so far so good. Hope you are all feeling better and focused.

Thumbs up Re: 2nd time around

This is my umpteenth attempt at a 2nd attempt on Cohen's (not sure that makes sense to anyone but me!!) I am so over aching legs and feet and feeling as big as a whale. It is true that 90% of success is in your head. So here goes!!!! This is it - I want to be somewhere near if not at my goal weight of 65 kilos by my 51st birthday in May. Am hoping that this forum gives me the moral support I need as well as tips etc. Thanks already - I'm feeling positive. Go strong!!!!!!

Ok, I am getting back to beginning of Feb. I am in a similar situation. Lost 20something kilos and have put on (guessing as I have been avoiding the scales) almost 10kg.
I am always surprised how great you feel after 4 days of solid Cohens. I love this forum too for inspiration, especially progress photos!
We can do this together!
