Default crying????

soooo been on diet for 2 weeks and one day, lost 8.7 kilos,
but for the past few days , no week or so everything seems to make me sad , and cry at the drop of a hat.... plus periods were 3 weeks late???

anyone else experience similar feelings

Hi Cassie,

Yes, I did. I had a friend who had a theory that I tend to believe in.

If you have used food to deal with emotions, then as the weight comes off, those emotions that we did not deal with resurface and we have to release them.

I am not sure if that applies to you but I felt it did for me. The longer I was on the program and the more I managed my emotions without food, the better it got.

I hope that you feel better soon. If it helps, see it as a positive form of your transformation.

Congrats on your weightloss to date.

I think that your hormones are playing a bit of havoc too - any chance you could be pregnant - that plays with your emotions too??

I always cried when early/just pregnant. ?
U will hopefully have resolved by now cos I am reading this a couple of weeks after your entry. Only commenting with the best of intentions because my programme says not to do if expecting, which is completely understandable. FYI Kind regards.

Hi Cassie, firstly well done and a HUGE congratulations on your progress and journey so far.. our journey isn't just a physical one but an emotional one too... stay with it.. and be sure to talk to your closest friends who you trust, keep them in the loop with what's happening and make sure you get the support xxx

Starting dress size:16 - Refeed dress size: 8

Round Four: June 2013. Goal - to return to 54-56kg

Final Goal: Maintain between 53-55kg, living life with self confidence, free of pain and to the fullest!!
