Default Fruit.

Hello All,

I am on day 8 of my program. I missed a piece of fruit today will this interfere with the program??? Will l have to keep having my fruit allowance for another ten days or do l continue as normal?

If l had it l would have to have it now and wait another 2 hrs before l go to sleep which means l would sleep at 2am...And thats not good either.

Catch 22...

I dont think it will make much difference. I think I missed a piece of fruit or cracker in my first 10 days so don't stress over it. I think they ask you to have all of your allowance in the first 10 days so that your body doesn't go into too much shock!! (that was my understanding anyway!!) Remember that you shouldn't eat after 9pm if you can help it.

I think that sleep is more important than a piece of fruit, but once again that is just my opinion.

Good luck with the program!!

Started 20/10/2010

Goal 2: 90kgs (before my sons birthday in early March)
Goal 3: 85kgs (30kgs gone for my good friends wedding in April!)
Month 1: Lost 10.6kgs Month 2: Lost 7kgs Month 3: Lost 5.9kgs

Hi Slim,

Re "order of importance", Asy has made a VERY useful post - click here, then follow the instructions in that post :-

It is one to remember - so maybe print it out, or use your choice of "bookmarking it" (of course, it is always available in Koh's Classics )

Just a big happy hushpuppy
I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny bloke (BMI ~23) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

I agree l love my sleep

Thanks Koh l had a look and it is useful. It wont be a normal occurence l was in a work related situation that l couldnt get out of. But then again had l planned a little better it could have been avoided. The important thing though is that l am learning how important it is to plan.... Success dosent just needs to plan to succeed. Right?

Thanks for the support!!!!

The 2 hours before bed rule is for meals not fruit.

You can eat fruit after 9pm, close to bedtime etc.

As well as the link Koh posted please read the Important Tips for new members in the new members area - it has a link about timing of fruit and crackers

Start 91kg on 5 December 2009 Started Maintenance 64.3kg on 15 July 2010
Goal to be under 3kg of maintenance start weight on the 15th of every month
Maintenance mantra: Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!!
