Brisbane Butchers

Hi Ladies

I was wondering if anyone in the Brisbane area knows of a good butcher that has nice lean meat and chicken and who is happy to mince it. I went to one and he told me to just buy the mince he had - it was fat free and blah blah. I know everyone has said dont do this as its better to get pieces minced for yourself.

Anyone have any fantastic butchers they use?

I live in the city but am happy to go for a drive on the weekend to grab my meat and vegies (especially if there is a good fresh food store around as well!!!)

I live near Toowoomba, but have found that the butcher at Gatton Plaza Meats will help you out heaps. His mince is exactly what we need, meat put straight throughthe mincer no additives whatsoever. Its 2kg for about $18, however he is only open through the week and on Saturday mornings.

Theree is also a number of freuit and veg shops on the highway that have awesome specials. Some of them are between 3 and 5 dollars cheaper than other places. I am happy to give you all their details if you are interested. All you need to do is PM me and I will be happy to find phone numbers for you.

Why not try super butchers. i have heard really good things about them and they deliver. website is www.superbutcher.com.au. Go and check it out, I hear they have good specials. I am just a little too far away for checking it out or the delivery....
