Default First weigh in, and Does anyone have any really EAST recipe ideas

Hi, i have been on Cohens for one month, just had my first weigh in today, i have lost about 7 kgs, is that okay. I did break it a little on saturday night, My hubby and i got a free meal voucher, and i couldn't resist that, could change the date weither, so I splurged a little, had more meat - 250 gr, 5 fried chips and a whole plate of roast chicken caesar saled and sauce- naughty eh, but that is all, haven't gone wrong at all before that, not even over easter, still lost 7 kgs, guess thats okay,,,,
also i am having stirfrys all the time, am getting a bit bored with them but often lack the motivation to cook something better as i am often too hungry to spend the time,,,, does anyone have any easy recipes,,
also, on a more embarrasing note, should we only be doing a number 2 about once a week?
Very Happy

7kg in a month ? That's great. Seriously you should be proud of yourself.

However, though, I'd disagree with you on your line "splurged a little". Chips, Ceaser Salad, Sauce, Double meal allowance - I'd say that's a bit more than Little.

Anyway, put it behind you and start again. My advice to you is not to grade deviations too much. A deviation is a deviation and it will hamper your weight loss to some extent.

Cohen's is the fastest and helthiest diet I know of and I am one of those with living proof that it works. but, and a big but, it's a very disciplined programme that requires a lot of commitment.

Hi Allbegoodsoon!

There are heaps of recipes on the actual Cohens website. www.lifestyleclinic.com.au

Also if you spend some time here there is a Tips, Tricks and Recipes thread.

Congrats on the 7kgs. Great start!!

But as Baloo said this does take some commitment and the best way is to be prepared.

I always when I buy meat and chicken, prepare it in a couple of different ways to freeze. This can be either mincing, dicing or leaving whole. That way all I have to do is defrost it and it's ready to go. Less preparation that way. I do know that some people also freeze their vege allowance. I prefer to leave my veges fresh. Also if you have spare time on the weekends - cook up a couple of meals and freeze them.

One other thing to keep in mind as well regarding deviations. Splurging a little CAN set you back up to one week in weight loss. I deviated at Easter - only a little - and it cost me 4 days of weightloss. NOT worth it.

Good luck

Cheers
MiniMe
