Lean minced steak, turkey or chicken Finely diced onion Finely diced green capsicum Cumin, Coriander, Garlic Granules (or powder), Chilli flakes (or powder), Paprika, Salt Chopped Tomato Lettuce Leaves Cook the onion in a non-stick pan then add mince and spices. When mince is browned, stir through green capsicum and cook till the capsicum is ust starting to soften. Serve in lettuce leaves with chopped tomato. |

Thai Beef Salad
Take lean steak and sprinkle liberally with garlic granules and chilli flakes (or powder), plus salt/ pepper if desired. Grill/ BBQ (or fry in non-stick pan) each side till browned then remove from heat, leave to stand while you prepare the salad. Make salad using veg allowance - I use baby spinach, rocket, coriander leaves, mint, chopped tomato, a sprinkling of sliced shallots (green onions) Slice steak thinly and arrange on the salad. Dress with mayo allowance, mixed with chilli and a dash of balsamic vinegar. |

Thai Chicken Chilli Basil
Chicken breast (sliced or minced) Garlic granules, chilli flakes, salt, smoked paprika Diet Coke Finely sliced shallots (green onions) Handful of Chopped fresh thai basil, and mint Cook chicken and spices with a good splash of Diet Coke in non-stick pan. When chicken is done, stir through sliced shallots and cook a bit longer, then stir through basil and mint at the end. Serve with sliced cucumber or salad (remainder of veg allowance) |
