Default Grassfed Beef?

I'm one week in on the program - 90% lean, 10% fat acceptable?

Hi JuneRA - I'm not sure about percentages, my clinic recommends lean meat with no specific fat % and I reckon that if you keep the meat as lean as you can, and eat only the meat that is allowed on your program then you should be OK. Congrats on your first week! Stick to your program 100% and you will see the benefits sooner rather than later - it's very motivating to see the weight practically falling off! I wish you every success and look forward to your future posts.
Take care and good luck.

Thanks Andie27 - I'm on day 11 today; been doing everything the same but felt hungry today. I kept pumping the water and hot tea to help keep me satiated - wondering why all of a sudden, trying to keep my mind clear.

Good to know I shouldn't worry about percentages, it's all in the quality of organic or grassfed cuts.

Is it normal to feel hungry at this late stage? Ideas?

Hey there JuneRA - for me I get hunger pains at different times. This is my second round and I remember my first time round and it wasn't too bad - but this time round, I'm sure my stomach was eating my backbone! I am happy to report that they do go away. Trust in your program and in yourself, stick to it 100%. I found that the first 10-12 days were the worst for me. I had major detox headaches. So keep up the good work with your water this helps flush all the toxins out of your body.
With regards to your meat - I try to ensure that there is no fat on my steak and I always buy from a butcher as they know the lean cuts and are always helpful and attentive. I have built up a healthy relationship with my local butcher and he cuts, minces, dices and fillets everything for me - he's such a sweetie!
Keep going - you're going great guns and you will be rewarded.
Take Care
Andie x
